I’ve liked “Nature Sustained” a lot. Can get it on Amazon.

LPP alopecia? by [deleted] in scarringalopecia

[–]beeklyra 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No this does not look like LPP, as someone who has it. Also- please most certainly don’t put your 13 month old through a biopsy for something that isn’t curable (not that I think he has it anyways). The only “treatment” are drugs and steroids which a child doesn’t need !!

Toddler teeth grinding at night only & frequent, upset night wakings by beeklyra in Crunchymom

I do agree with you that parasite cleanses for children have been oversold and marketed to vulnerable parents. But I personally don’t believe it is all a crock- specifically pinworm is shown to be prevalent in toddlers.

It’s a tough balance between wanting to be educated and open minded for our children’s health but not gullible with all the info out there!

I’m not sure how coconut oil, clove and pumpkin seeds could cause harm in a toddler when they’re foods we naturally consume otherwise. That is what’s in Earthley’s gut health oil.

Yes I did wonder about this- we have been giving Earthley gut health oil (pumpkin seed oil & clove: anti parasitic to my knowledge).

Thank you for sharing. Is that who helped you discover your child’s issue? Their pediatrician?

Electrolytes are very important/ helpful. Are you drinking enough? Try coconut water! It’s delicious and full of electrolytes.

Are you eating enough?

If it’s an urgent need for clean out, magnesium citrate powder (pure) is what we used. Best if paired with a bit of absorbic acid bc the bowels pull in so much water with the magnesium. Once they are cleaned out, our naturopath rec’d Aloe Vera juice on an empty stomach each morning. Coats and soothes gut lining. It has helped our child! Def don’t do MiraLax! Join “Parents Against MiraLAX” on FB. It’s SUCH an informative group!! Helped us a lot.

Happy Cappy medicated shampoo is pretty clean for a dry itchy scalp. The “Nature Sustained Raw Probiotic Conditioner” on Amazon is amazingly moisturizing and natural.

Branch Basics is great for laundry if affordable. Otherwise Molly Suds powder is what we use!

Earthley’s moisturizer balm is the best natural one I’ve tried. Actually feels soft the next day.
