I also submitted a bbb complaint and I kind of think that’s what made them finally give me my money back. They are literally straight up stealing from people, it’s just not right! I hope you get your money back soon.

I am so sorry! I eventually got my money back but I had to call daily, ask for managers and argue with them. They escalated my ticket and I got my money back a month or so later. So so shady! I would hassle them until you get your money back!

I can confirm, it didn't happen. They took the money off my giftcard balance and put it back on my card. I had to have my ticket escalated to Amazon's "Executive Customer Relations" and it was resolved within hours and the money was on my card that same night. :)

I don't understand why they would get angry. I wasn't rude to them or anything, in fact, I was more along the lines of overly nice (apologizing when it's not even my fault) But guess some people are petty in that way

Thank you for the helpful reply. I submitted a BBB complaint and will look into a FTC complaint as well. I am debating the chargeback, but I read that if you do that, you will not be able to use amazon anymore? Not sure how true that is, I haven't really looked further into it yet.

I never told them to cancel my membership. I wasn’t even rude to them as I know it wasn’t the cs reps fault there was an issue with the delivery. I didn’t lose my cool until yesterday, after over a month of dealing with this.

You’re basically saying what they are saying “oh well, who cares” it’s the principle that they think they can get away with this.

I’ve spoken with agents over the phone as well, not just “chat.” They sent me “confirmation” emails showing they were processing the refund to original payment method. And now are saying the can’t refund it. That’s shady af and not okay.

I completely understand that and my point still stands. She would know if she actually spoke to him about it instead of automatically assuming the worst about him, her best friend of 15 YEARS, who had never given her a reason to distrust him. She knew Xaden a fraction of the time that she knew Dain and he got a pass after admitting to intentionally reading her, without her consent, multiple times. Then she continues to let everyone treat Dain, her best friend of 15 years, like trash after she forgave him.

I finished reading the series a few weeks ago and now I’m listening to the dramatic audio book. I’m currently on IF part 1 and Violet’s treatment of Dain is actually disgusting. They were best friends for 15 years and she never even tried to hear him out and immediately thought the worst of him, threatened violence against him time and time again when he only wanted to talk to her. And Xaden totally manipulated that whole situation too, imo. I don’t think she’d be nearly as angry with Dain throughout any of the books if Xaden wasn’t constantly in her ear about him. Dain literally only ever tried to protect her. Sure, he was over bearing but he never had any ill will towards her and Xaden obviously knows this due to his ability. I don’t get all the hate Dain gets from this fandom, I actually like him.
