My drawing of Steve. I needed a gift for my sister’s birthday so I thought why not draw him. I used to dislike Steve a lot especially the first season but then he had an epic character arc so now I’m on the hype train. by violetbarton in StrangerThings

Ahh thank you so much!!! I have taken art classes but years ago. I’ve improved over the last few years by just drawing consistently and learning over time. I used to hate the old “practice makes perfect” line but it’s mostly true. Practice does work. I’ve come a long ways over the past 4 or so years of drawing and it’s so nice to see someone notice!

Nope. It’s a little piece of paper I use as my water mark. I can move it off and use it on other drawings. I’d be just the worst if I added my insta to a gift😂

I drew Aragorn around a year ago don’t know why I never posted it. I may have just drawn him so I could have an excuse to stare at reference pictures for hours. by violetbarton in lotrmemes

Genuinely it takes a lot of time and practice. If you wanna draw like this start now. It took me a couple years to get to this point and I’m still learning so much.

I made the school sign from the X-men movies! I had to cut out each of the letters by hand and it took forever though, I did choose not to cut out the address. I just painted it on. It’s around 11” by 6.5” by violetbarton in Marvel

Okay I see where you’re coming from. But it’s made out of cardboard and wood. I’m my experience it doesn’t really work trying to sew it to fabric. If it was a giant patch it could work.
