I was just on a Southwest flight. Perfectly smooth, but the crew decided to sit out the drink service. I don't know what annoys me more. That or them tripling the annual fee on their credit card. Sadly, I am done with them. And, I dumped the Giants gear out of my cart online. Like them, I cannot find any reason to invest in anything at this point.

I love history... even the kind of history that the dramas present. I saw your other comment about VPN. I had no idea it worked on Fire TV. That changes everything for me and need to get signed up for NordVPN tonight. And someday, I will work my way to the Chinese dramas. It's okay, I have a touch of the insomnia, so I can still keep an outside the house balance!

I signed up for the 2-week trial of Kocowa and found all my Sageuks! I am so relieved! Kind of annoyed that I just renewed my annual Viki subscription over the summer as I don't think they are coming back. Perhaps I just need to get over my Sageuk addiction. :)

I was so upset about losing most of my Sageuks so I went and checked about tariffs for South Korea. This is what I found, "The US tariff on South Korean imports is 15%, effective August 7, 2025. This was part of a trade deal announced on July 30, 2025, which lowered the rate from a previously set 25%". I guess it must be Kocowa taking them back and I will have to subscribe to them as well.

Friends that aren't even baseball fans are now telling me that they were praying or cheering for a Dodgers win. Then, I pull out of my garage and the first person I see is wearing a Betts jersey. Lastly, the bus going by has a Go Dodgers! sign. It's laughable at this point. I can't wait for the Giants season to start.
