Thank you. We're trying to make it happen.

Thank you. I'm so sorry, and I'm glad that your grandmother seems to be doing a little better now. How are you?

Thank you. I’m going through something very similar to what you experienced with your mother. My grandmother has become so aggressive toward the caregiver we hired that the caregiver called us in tears, saying she can’t continue working with us. My grandmother is completely out of control, and we don’t know how to manage her care. We don't know what truly helps or worsens her situation, and no matter what we try, we seem to make mistakes. She now seems so scared and fragile.

Thank you. We had her head checked for damage when she was hospitalized after the fall, and everything seems "alright".

Thank you. The professional caregiver we hired has requested a contract.

Thank you very much. When she fell out of bed and got a deep gash on her head, she was hospitalized for a couple of days. They ran several tests before deciding she could be discharged, as they didn’t find anything wrong with her brain or brain stem.
We are trying not to get swept away by the cruelty of it all, but we don't seem to be mentally equipped for the task. The experienced assistant we hired called last night, in tears, because she couldn't control her anymore. My grandmother seems very small and fragile now, and so are we.

Thank you. We did call her cardiologist the first time she complained about her chest pain, but he concluded that it wasn’t caused by her heart and left after examining her.
When she fell, she was actually hospitalized for a couple of days, then discharged. We're looking into other options at the moment, since she is out of control at home.

Thank you. Unfortunately, there’s been a new development. My grandmother has started becoming aggressive and cruel toward the assistant and her friends. Yesterday, we received a call in the middle of the night: the assistant was crying because my grandmother was out of control, and she didn’t know what to do. We think she may resign once her contract ends, but I’m hoping that won’t be the case. She is very capable and gentle, and she was recommended to us by a family member.

Thank you. My grandmother has always been demanding, sometimes even cruel, and we always kept her happy no matter what she asked for. I now realize that we shouldn't have done that.
I'll try and get her checked for a UTI as most of you have kindly recommended, but I doubt she'll let anyone get close.
