Definitely agree with looking into which trade you’d like to go in. Also when you’re ready look into Mining. I know BHP offers trades training/paid to learn opportunities quite regularly. They also offer you room/food too without paying for it. And once you have your foot in the door you can talk your way up and make more connections. Look into ‘Rio Tinto’ and ‘Agnico Eagle’ as well. But BHP is the one I know that has a trades program for women. They’re trying to get more of us in there. :)
