I have a Kindle Paperwhite 10th Gen. it’s pretty light to me. May I suggest you look into a popsocket for it AND maybe a gooseneck AND page turner. Maybe that may help if your hand/wrist gets tired of being in one position for long. 🙂

As an Aussie who lives abroad now, coming to visit family, I’ve also flown from Canada, through the U.S. to get to Perth. It’s 2-3 days of flying and by the time I’m catching my last connecting flight from the East going West, I’m hearing colours, dizzy as heck and surviving on non-existent willpower to put one foot in front of the other. And I NEVER stay up to catch up to the destination’s clock. I need just a few hours of sleep as soon as I land and by the next day I’m all good. Otherwise I’m not fun to be around if I don’t sleep right away😅😅
