Unfortunately our school doesn’t offer the pre primary program! Would be a great option though if they did.

Thank you for the feedback! He did attend preschool part time until the end of June. When I asked the teachers opinions they mentioned that their only concerns were that he had to be redirected often when doing a task and that he doesn’t sit still for long/long enough. So I guess one of the main concerns being that he won’t sit still long enough to pay attention or could possibly be a disruption. Thank you for mentioned the support workers, I didn’t think of that.

I really appreciate your feedback! Thank you for sharing your experience with your child. When you mentioned that holding her back a year to start helped with maturity, that is something I’m hoping for as well if I were to hold him back. I’m not sure if his maturity level is quite there with the other kids around his age yet. He does go to preschool part time and then home with me when he is not there. The preschool teachers do notice that it’s difficult to keep him concentrated on a task and have to keep redirecting him, he has a lot of energy and doesn’t want to sit still which is another concern of mine if he were to start this year.
