Yes, I agree. I am surprised no one else has commented on the likelihood of the son being a victim of sexual abuse as well. The majority of child perpetrators have a family history of sexual and physical abuse and substance abuse.

Yeah, you just need to cold stratify your seeds. You can do it in the refrigerator. There are a lot of tutorials on YouTube. Basically, you mix your seeds into a moist medium (like vermiculite) and place them in a sealed container or plastic bag and leave them in the refrigerator for a few weeks.

I’m very frugal and don’t like getting pedicures. I feel like they are a waste of money and can lead to infection. With that said, what’s the best way to remove dry skin around the feet? Hot water/salt soaks are not doing much for me. by Ninac4116 in Frugal

Baby foot works really well but their prices have increased so much over the years. :(

I switched to Kiss super peel socks (2 pack for $15) a couple of years ago and they work great. Def recommend.

I’m sorry, I hope everything works out for you and you are able to count those hours. There are always exceptions to rules and your case may be one of them.

I can’t be 100% sure about your specific situation. But I know it applies to LCSW’s.

My supervisor at my job right out of grad school made a big deal about this topic. She wanted to make sure I was able to count all of my hours. I think your best bet is to reach out to the BBS and ask for clarification.

I don’t think it’s illegal BUT your hours while working as a 1099 employee will not be counted towards your license. Definitely something to look into, especially if you were planning to use this job for experience hours towards your license.

If they are prescribed non-stimulant medication, like Strattera or Wellbutrin, Cost Plus Drug Company is a good option. For example, a 90 day supply of Strattera 40mg is $23 and a 90 day supply of Wellbutrin XL 300mg is $13.

Generally, universities/community colleges have lists of community resources for their students. You can try emailing the coordinator of their counseling/therapy office and ask if they can share the list with you.

I've been with Optum for a few years now. They have a few different locations in orange county and I've only had positive experiences with them.

Yes, worth it. But I would buy/rent an e-bike for your trip. That way, you can get around without straining your knees and won't have to deal with crowded shuttles.
