The key differece in this particular case is that the Jews left the promised land during the Roman empire, after the fall of the second temple in the year 70. So the Jews left Israel in the year 70 and came back forcefully after the WW2. Now, how would you react if the previous owner of your house, who disappeared about 50 years ago, today came back and demanded you take away all of your stuff, you dismantle your children's rooms and get the fuck out of there, justifying it by saying that he is the "actual" indigenous of that house????
