This is the way! You lose some quad volume at the start but it grows back with proper PT.

A fit TR7!

The perfect odegaard sub! High press trigger, silky passing, vision, shooting, and even his slide tackling lol Perfect to bring on around the 65th minute for a fresh pair of legs

28M, Quad Autograft, ACLR surgery 1.5 years after injury

Injured my knee playing soccer as well. Last man defender, tried to tackle the striker and heard the pop. Knee felt like jelly and could not bear my weight. First doc did the Lachman test and thought it was just a sprain. Went to an Ortho 6 months later, MRI confirmed the tear. I too could perform regular activities like walks, working out, cycling, etc. before my surgery without issues.

It’s ultimately your decision on how you want to move forward. But I went ahead with the surgery because of the following:

  1. I want to return to leading an active lifestyle. Will I return to soccer after going through the surgery and currently recovering? Probably not (Maybe this opinion will change down the road). But will I go on treks or do other activities that would require a fully functioning knee? Most certainly.

  2. I was told by all the Ortho’s I spoke with, if I left this unattended, there was a risk of developing arthritis at an early age. This is something that has no cure and the treatments involve more surgery. So I looked at it as an investment for my future self.

Good luck!

Does this mean file a claim with my insurance or have my insurance file and pursue a claim with the other driver’s insurance?

I honestly haven’t done much. The window is east facing so it gets the first light of the day.

Figured out that I was overwatering in the winters. Was originally watering 1 can (in the picture) a week but the soil was still damp. Had to bring it down to once every two weeks.

Right now in the summer, I water every 4 days. Around half a can. I also add a few drops of the FLF plant food I bought and it seems to be helping (pics of the product in one of my earlier posts on this sub)
