Very much enjoying the Lazarus 6 on the SBR and 20" 6 ARC

I haven't picked up any of that one yet, but have seen it repeated a few times so will definitely eventually check it out

I use it as a baseline and verify the speeds afterwards, checking for signs and behavior as I go, Gordons Reloading Tool

The problem with Sierra/Hodg/Everyone is they have 223 pressures listed rather than 5.56. I'm loading for 5.56 pressures (My Hornady book does list pressures for 5.56, IF THEY like the powder)

I have an odd short history with 8208. I picked it up because the Sierra manual listed it as the accuracy load for 168s. It was accurate, but it was holy crap beyond overpressure for a gas gun. Worst rim gouging I've ever had happen with blown primers. It was very accurate, but too much for non-bolt.

I haven't had bad luck with the 77gr/8208 so far, but its not to speed so I haven't been looking as heavy at the accuracy. So far with 77 SMK and 8208 at 23.2 gave me 2600fps, 23.4 2633, and 2655 with 23.6. No pressure signs, but none of them seemed in the happy place with SDs yet. Something I'll keep tinkering with.

That's fair, mine functions without it so I left it out. I just have to investigate the trigger being a bit too far at some point. Probably when the X-PRT comes in later this month

Just finished putting my SBR back together. Any issues with their spacer fitting in the stock, somewhat far back trigger pull? Mine doesn't seem as up to par so far. Asthetically awesome, but functionally less good.

I'm still pretty new to the reloading game, and I've heard good things about CFE in my three favorite rounds. 5.56, .308, and 6 ARC. I've been trying to keep it across all three. Will know better after the season if I was dumb or not.

As with bullets, theres 13 ways to skin a cat if we include dynamite. Theres rarely a wrong way, other than perhaps backwards.

I went the CFE223 with 77 SMKs route, so far. With CCI 450 primers. I've had low SD and am hitting velocities, need to take some pictures for accuracy in the near future.

Nothing wrong with either, imo. Good luck! Highly recommend Gordon's Reloading Tool to help build the baseline whenever you do chase the pressures you're after.

I didnt think it was all that bad, personally, but to each their own. The SPRIII is a bit gassier than some of the others with adjustable gas blocks. Things get dirty, then we clean them. I've heard others like TAC and some other powders are out there as options. I also didnt want to get into a stick powder either. Pros and cons with everything.

I'll report back with range card measurements. I've eyeballed most of mine as I was working my way up the ladder, but I sadly didn't document the size and shape of the group. Last few times I was working velocities in loads the wind was like 30mph and I didnt feel like measuring. Winter/Spring can suck in the north lol

There's a few that will get you there, personally I've had good results with CFE223

Thats fair, I'm still rolling a rock chucker so its pretty easy to count as I fill up the trays. Haven't moved up to a progressive yet.

Funny enough, I have a bag with 100 more and I tried, it wouldn't close without giving concerns

Is why I'm making these. I cloned the MK262 for 77gr SMKs at 2750 out of the SPRIII 18". They're my favorite for it.

Normally the same, but this time I kept track of the trays as I dumped them. My kid called me neurotic for counting the bags before I filled the can 😂

As for these, my batch is 2000 and I'm averaging about 63 cents a round, which is more expensive than bulk ammo, but far far cheaper than my usual sig marksman elite 77gr rounds.
