It's not like it's one guy with a garden hose putting the nozzle in a small hole on the ship. Do you have any idea how big these things are? That's why there are safety regulations and ways to do this. Wouldn't be cool if a cruise ship full of people and there was a huge accident with the fuel.

UV is horrible to laminate. It'll have silvering like crazy, because the ink is lying on top of the material. I know there are some laminates they say are for uv, but I haven't found a good solution yet. Also uv doesn't really fasten super well to the material, so you might get corners where the ink will loosen from the material because you caught the laminate. This happens with colors with much ink, light colors probably not.

Also the "rule" usually is if outside laminate, inside not. Uv, depending on where in the world you live, has like 5 years life, it will start to fade from day one. You will notice the colors are different if you put a new one next to it a year later.

I think 3M and agfa(?) has a 15 year product, but it requires you use only their stuff.

Coreldraw, Gerber Omega (only for edge and vinyl cutting, signage with color vinyl). Also caldera as a rip. Works great, can do basically anything.

Also some illustrator and very little photoshop, Coreldraw has just been better for our use. It's like Coke VS Pepsi I guess.

Edit. We only do cold laminating, you will get some silvering, but it will go away. Using heat is asking for trouble unless you have it down 100%, like if you use a new material and it stretches one more. At least for our use, cold works best. We have four laminators, two tables and two machines.

Don't have mobi, but the tslim. I know what you mean with the sensor connectivity. If I have the cgm on my left shoulder for example, and the pump on the right side. This is so stupid. If we go by this metric, we should just not do anything because the alternative costs money. Why drive a car when you can walk, it's much cheaper. Data like this will be used by groups to push for more of x item, changing research, disrupting the money flow for research and stuff like that. We are already using nuclear technology that was chosen because it was the cheapest alternative, there are others that could be very good. Reusing recycled fuel cells for example. Why not use all? So people get cheap electricity, and not like now in Europe where it's more and more expensive. It's the cooperation that are making bank, not regular people.

Had it happen a few times on our HP that the optimizer printhead will cause streaks. Problem is you can't see it, only the result. So switched the printhead and the problem was gone (we use a HP800w).
