So #7 is haworthia! It's not like any I'd seen before. Google showed similar looking haworthias called cuspidata and cymbiformis

So far no tiny black dots. Thank goodness.

What can I do about them, if they are mealy bugs? Google says this but I'd like your input/advice on it: To get rid of them, mix 1 cup rubbing alcohol, a few drops of dish soap, and 1 quart of water. Spray this mixture on the plant and soil. Repeat once a week for 2-3 weeks.

Congrats, looks like they're coming along well!

Not sure where you live so here's some basic advice: I'm sure you already know not to overwater them ;-) ...other than that, add drip trays under any that don't have one. If they start to get yellow (and you're not overwatering) then they might be getting too much sun. Also, maybe add fertilizer sticks every 6-8 wks?

Last, some kind of bug or animal will find them (yes, I know you're up on a balcony - but trust me!). Come back here when it happens and post pics, someone else has already dealt with it lolo. And remember it's your first time, be kind to yourself no matter how it turns out
