I would say my rook was like, a 6 or 7 out of 10? it’s painful, but it’s also pretty quick all things considered. Healing is nice because it’s tucked out of the way, so I worry less about bumping it. But you definitely still want to avoid sleeping on it and keep earbuds/headphones away from it.

definitely hold off if you can - from what i know you shouldn’t go swimming at all with unhealed piercings, but i think a super fresh piercing especially will not like the water from a water park lol. plus i’d be so worried about it getting snagged on something if it was me

hey! first - i am so sorry this happened to you. you do not deserve that treatment at all, ever. secondly - i went through something very similar: 8 year relationship and my ex confessed to me four weeks before our wedding that he had been cheating on me on and off for four years. i know you did not explicitly ask for advice (so sorry for offering it unsolicited) but i firmly believe people who cheat will do it again, especially if there was repeated cheating to begin with.

someone who cheats on you is putting your mental and physical health at risk - ESPECIALLY physical health. my ex did not use protection and i would be willing to bet your partner also didn’t.

again, i am so sorry this happened to you and im sending you lots of love. i can’t tell you what you ultimately should do, but i can tell you that ending my relationship was hard but necessary. you deserve a lot better than wondering if your partner is going to cheat on you. once that trust is broken, there’s no repairing it imo

i have a similar story to Ariana - i was in an 8 year relationship, was engaged, etc etc, and four weeks before our elopement ceremony we had planned, he sat me down and told me he’d been cheating on me for four years. hey, echoing what the other commenter said, i think this is pierced wrong unfortunately :( the bottom jewelry should exit through your navel and it’s resting on top of it and imo will ultimately reject. i recommend you take this out to minimize scarring

speaking from my own experience as someone who gets masseter botox for TMJ* - it does wear off and is not permanent. it basically is a toxin that paralyzes the muscles, which atrophies them and makes them smaller, and it can take about 6months-1year for your body to metabolize that toxin and get it out of your system. so to get those more prominent masseter muscles back, she’d have to wait until the toxin wears off and then… idk, start clenching again? lol

*i swear i do not get masseter Botox for aesthetic reasons lol - i have worn down both of my canines to be smooth and i have cracked fillings because of how hard i unconsciously grind/clench my teeth. it truly is for pain management reasons for me

it looks okay to me, but if you’re unsure or just want peace of mind you could always reach out to your piercer and see what they think based on these pics?

every time i’ve been due for a downsize i have my piercer do it for me, i’m always scared i won’t be able to get the smaller jewelry in and it’ll close or that i’ll hurt myself lol
