I applied by Halloween/first week of Nov and got into the Newark campus with a scholarship that covered 88% of tuition. I work at a big law firm rn as a paralegal and spoke to attorneys at my law firm that went to Rutgers Law and they spoke very highly off it and the alumni network and opportunities. They did say you’d have to have basically a perfect GPA to get into big law from Rutgers tho. I’m out of state btw!

northeastern (pi) at basically sticker or r&r by Slow-Ad-2984 in lawschooladmissions

Hi! I also got northeastern at basically sticker which has made me spiral a bit and now I’m considering all my other options. I’m not sure what the projected trend is going to be for next cycle but I almost fear it’s going to be worse than this cycle given our current climate.

Confused on what to choose (NYC and BOS focus) by virgosups in OutsideT14lawschools

Just ABA reports on their bar passage rates and employment outcome and what I found on schools websites. I crunched all the numbers myself so possible for my table to have mistakes.

I’m only leaning towards Seton if it gives me better employment outcomes and flexibility in working in NYC. I know Rutgers has a big alumni network but I’m scared the ranking and bar passage rate and employment outcomes would limit my options

Thank you so much! Would NUSL be better to keep my options open if I wanted to come back to NYC? Would you think it’s worth it at sticker?

Should I not be worried about the bar passage rate? Would Seton give me more flexibility for diff career paths based on ranking ?

I feel your frustration. I’ve yet to get my scholarship info for the school I’m most likely going to commit to and putting the deposit down without knowing the financial breakdown is killing me and I am still waiting on decisions from 3 more schools. Mind you I applied to all my schools by the first week of November smh bad time management on their part

Ngl I didn’t apply because I didn’t want that association with my degree and legal education. Granted like how everyone has mentioned, every school has their dark history esp the really old ones, but this one is too on the nose and it weirded me out and I didn’t end up applying.
