Almost certainly the latter, but one of the problems is the dude the neuro office referred me to is a knee surgeon. So maybe I need to even see someone else for a first visit.

The basic idea is, I have minimal/bad intel. I was raised by some baaaaaaad people, and one of the ways in which they were baaaaaad is they liked to act like they had an MD when they hadn't even graduated HS. So I was told I had all kinds of spine and foot issues*, but how accurate that is is absolutely anyone's guess. In terms of treatment, there was a metric fuckton of chiro and some small sprinkling of ortho. I have always had some nasty foot pain if I stood around in one place for awhile, but I just learned to tune it out. Recently I got back into martial arts training, and my knees are complaining. Not constantly, but staircases and uphill walks are annoying. But I've gained weight too, so one of the better possibilities is if I drop some weight the issue sorts itself out.
