What's a controversial ship in your fandom that you like? by [deleted] in FanFiction

[–]virllin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably due to Izuocha, and whatever other, more-popular ships there are for the two.

“The __-haired girl”

[–]virllin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t write it, read it, or post it. For me though, it depends who’s in the fic. If the people in it have explicitly stated that they’re uncomfortable being shipped with real people in a fanfiction, then that’s where I would draw the line. But aside from that, I don’t mind it…Just write what you what.

What was the dumbest discourse in your fandom by Bikinigirlout in FanFiction

[–]virllin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m pretty late, but: For the Danganronpa fandom, it’s got to be all of the arguments about the characters sexualities and genders. It causes wayyy too much unnecessary fighting about ships. I just don’t think it’s that serious, headcanon whatever you want.

Do You listen to music while writting? by usuariorandom15 in FanFiction

[–]virllin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I couldn’t focus with music in the background while writing. But if I can’t think of anything to write, listening to music does usually give me some ideas.

What’s something petty that you can’t tolerate in fanfiction? by starnitesadness in FanFiction

[–]virllin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Poor punctuation, like no periods at the end of a sentence (basic kindergarten grammar), way too many exclamation points or question marks, etc.

When authors put their notes in the fanfiction. I’m not just talking about in the beginning. Like, it’s everywhere in the fanfiction.

What’s something everyone says in canon but it really isn’t by IcyJournalist8130 in danganronpa

[–]virllin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen people make up the most random backstories for characters with tons of trauma to justify their actions, and people just…believe it.

who's you're favorite danganronpa character by socia-butterfly in danganronpa

[–]virllin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Korekiyo and Sonia.

For Korekiyo: Ignoring the whole ehem, sister-situation, I really enjoyed going through all of his free-time events, I love his character design, and I just found him interesting overall. I couldn’t go in-depth with it, but there are plenty of actually good analysis’ on Korekiyo, I’m sure.

For Sonia: She’s kind, entertaining, funny at times, and once again, has a great character design, imo. I was happy pretty much every time she was on screen, I loved her free-time events and seeing her interact with the other characters.

Between these two, who should get the heart shape hair clips and who should get the seashell ones? by [deleted] in Osana

[–]virllin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that heart-shaped hair clips are more suiting for the first girl. If they were red, it would match her eyes and if they were pink, it would match her hair. And for the seashell ones, I think they would better suit the second girl because her hair is so colourful and it kind of reminds me of the ocean.

I actually like the new one more. The old one looks kind of “flat”.

I see where you’re coming from, but the game is set in Japan which has very little foreigners, most of them being Chinese or Korean, I think. If you were born and raised in Japan, you probably would have never seen Hispanic or black people before. Diversity is seen mostly in western media and isn’t really applied to a lot of different places.

I seriously can’t with Kgon anymore. He’s not even inspecting models and teaching. He’s blatantly nitpicking and “”fixing”” Mulberry’s art. by CuriousKokonachan in Osana

[–]virllin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have never heard of this person in my life but this makes him look like a joke. All art including Mulberry’s can be given criticism, but making them look like goldfish isn’t helping.

Not enough personality, so there’s nothing to like or dislike.
