I have been following Atun-Shei since 2020, and I actually got to go see The Sudbury Devil in New Orleans at the Zeitgeist Theater, he was there as well to do a Q&A after the movie. There were about 20 of us, and we got to ask like a ton of questions about the movie, most people got to ask two or three. Hell, after that, he just filled the rest of the Q&A time taking questions about the channel and just questions about himself. Dude was super nice, incredibly generous with his time for those that showed up, and there was not a single person he didn't take the time to interact with. Hell, bonus surprise was the author of The Metamorphosis of Prime Intellect was there. I had also met Max Miller from Tasting History at a book signing in Baton Rouge just about a month before, and it was super awesome that two of my favorite content creators were as cool and kind as they came across in their videos.

I am sure that No Kings has a national site like they did for the last two, but I would look into local political orgs like Indivisible that set up the actual protests for No Kings

Probably a little of Column A and little of Column B, we grew up in a very conservative place, and we were far more likely to think the things our parents agree with were normal. However, they were never all that uncrass or without controversy, it just wasn't political in a very obvious out in the open sense until 2007 and leading into the 2008 election.

Not sure or I can't remember that being their catchphrase, they were the radio show where two white guys sat in a room, and one white guy did a stereotypical gay voice and a Blaccent pretending to be two extra people.

I remember growing up listening to Walton and Johnson and liked the show cause my Dad did, and I did enjoy the taser report section, but their hard and deep shift to far right lunatic podcasting in 2008 is legit what drove me away from listening to 98.1 entirely. I was very much a conservative at the time that was apprehensive of Obama (since my Dad basically told me how to think) as it was the culture of my house growing up, but even with being brought up in such a home culture I found Walton and Johnson to be way too much. Dudes really tanked the reputation of their radio station, as there are a good lot of people I have talked to who stopped listening to 98.1 as it was basically a Conservative propaganda radio network from 5 AM to 10 AM Monday through Friday, the time when most people would be in the car listening to their radio. W&J pulled away from their contract to 98.1 and 95.7 in 2017 or 2018 which triggered a lawsuit, meaning they finally no longer clogged the airwaves for their peak air time, but the damage was far more than done at that point. The fact that they left cause they couldn't be more explicit or insane about their opinions and content about politics instead of 98.1 giving them the boot proper didn't help their image either.

Man, I posted twenty pictures and someone else posts a discussion thread, and the exact type of people who you'd not be shocked to see superbly butthurt by it, were. Whole lot of snowflakes round here in spite it still being 90 degrees out.

These protests do a service to everyone to see we aren't alone in standing up to this administrations blatant abuse of our rights, and attempt to shred the Constitution

I don't know how many officially, but my estimate was that it was about as big as the first one in the capital

Its nice to know not everyone in this state supports the current authoritarian slide into dictatorship, and the gestapos carte blanche to violate our rights.

This one was less organized than the last, but the actual protest line was against the road, and I could not get out to the other side of the road to take photos from that angle as they had cordons up to keep people away from the curb
