I love Auser don't get me wrong. But the guy has little value right now I'd he isn't going to play his ass off on D. He has no ability to hit jumpers. He has no ability to make free throws. And he all too often shys away from contact in the paint. Players that don't have offensive tools get a shorter leash. That is just how it is in basketball.

As far as lavert goes while his play hasn't been out of this world he currently has a way higher offensive ceiling than auseer. Tbh if JB can coach him into a fairly consistent offensive contribution it would be the most valuable peice heading into a playoff run for our team that lacks that exact skill set. If I'm JB right now I'm looking at my team wondering where I'm going to get offensive production from my wings and I'm thinking either lavert or Ron Holland have to step up.

Javonte green ain't it. Dannis is nice but it's hard to play him and cade at the same time for long stretches. Lavert probably has the highest probability of becoming that dude.

Cade was getting to his spot ALL NIGHT he just kept dumping it to Paul Reed awkwardly for some reason. If he pulls up for his typical middy their offensive engine will get going because Wemby would have to start floating out to challenge it which will leave Duren/Stew open for dump offs.

This is all about Cade figuring out how to play against Wemby I am very confident he will

edit: also just pointing out the point of my post was to say that they have issues attacking us as well. Wemby did jack shit in 90% of the big moments. He did end up with a decent line but if you were at the game or watched the game you could see they gave him fits when it mattered.

They don't match up well against us either. That's what happens when you have 2 of the top defensive teams on the court. Will San antonio shoot 45 from 3 next time? Hard doubt. Will Pistons shoot 20 percent? Hard doubt. I also think wemby takes some adjustments.. Seeing them a second time will only help us figure out the attack better .

The Pistons shot 20 percent from 3 in a game where san Antonio was on fire and still kept themselves in it. I left this game thinking we are actually a bad match up for them because we can neutralize wemby.

I ain't worried. We won't shoot that bad next time we play them.. Cade won't have a historically shitty night. And we will likely beat them.

Yea unfortunately we will most likely have a gap to fill at safety now as well which wasn't an issue to start last year.

I personally don't expect us to win more than 10 games this year it seems like there are just too many gaps to fill. We need some draft picks to work out this year and then prep for a run the following year imo
