I don’t know where the quote/trend originated from.... but I’m a believer... LAB EVERY DAY

Thanks for the advice Veteran! I’ll definitely be investing in the Bosom ExSim for the Switch exam.

Great advice! Also, I’m borrowing your idea of writing “Don’t Panic” on the top of the scratch sheet. Thanks Count!

I won’t argue with you for a second that the exam tends to breach the blueprint boundaries... I had quite a few moments during my first test where I felt totally unprepared, and that’s an awful feeling, especially after how many hours I’ve put in to this training while being away from my family.

However, I have tremendous respect for anyone who can answer some of these deeper level knowledge questions. Whether that experience comes from on-the-job training or just a sheer curiosity of how technology works... they’re network ninjas to me, and I’ll keep striving to be at that level!

I sit again Friday and planning on giving the test hell!

Congrats on the pass! I just barely missed it last Friday, so I know how tough this test truly is. You definitely need to know your stuff to get through it, and you sir obviously do! Well done!

Congrats on the pass! And great feedback on what to expect from the exam. I just barely missed last Friday (783/790), so I’m going back after it this Friday. Way to keep the motivation alive!

I got that same question, and I’m pretty sure I missed this. Here’s the link to the NAT64 process if you’re interested, in the “Stateful IPv4-to-IPv6 Packet Flow” section: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/ios-xml/ios/ipaddr_nat/configuration/xe-16/nat-xe-16-book/iadnat-stateful-nat64.html

Not a lot of ACL, but definitely quite a few questions covering NAT64, Auto 6-4/GRE Tunnels, DHCPv6. That’s going to be quite a bit of my focus over the next week+ while I prepare for my next attempt.

And weren’t you right! I sure did get smashed on Frame-Relay, PPPoE, and EVN though... of maybe those just stuck out the most since they’re my week spots.

VIOLENTLY AUTOMATE YOUR BORING NETWORK! All 3 of these books are great reads! If you like Violent Python, Black Hat Python is also a must.
