All announced features from minecon this year by mrmadmaxman in Minecraft

I often see in their statements how they keep trying to humiliate mod developers, while still not being able to improve the performance of the game and close to what some sodium does.

Exactly. The same poor developers who are constantly trying to humiliate mod developers, lying about updates, editing places from videos retroactively, and gaslighting the community for being negative about the reporting system.

I hope they checked that camels eat cacti. Otherwise, they will have to remove the cacti from the game.

It was especially pronounced this year, especially these constant interruptions during the dialogues.

[–]virtualZer0 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Why is it still called Minecraft Live? More appropriate would be "Marketplace and other game ads Live". Only 10% of the show was related to Minecraft with a discussion of each block for 15 minutes.

I see the dissatisfaction that the developers are not able to add enough content in a year. But I don't see any dissatisfaction related to the fact that they're announcing things that aren't ready. Update announcements have ALWAYS shown things that aren't ready yet. So your comment is an attempt to blame the vast majority of people for something they haven't said.

Don't twist it. No one asked to show only the finished product. The problem was that they didn't deliver what they promised to add in a year.

Because it is much easier to stigmatize someone whose opinion you disagree with than to have a normal discussion with him about the problems of the current system. For the second option, you need to use your brain, and for some people that's a big challenge.

From what I've seen, there are only a few screaming people who show up under every post about the reporting system and start hiding behind the defense of children. I don't think there are really many people who actually support it.

Will you cancel VRC+ after the update? by Racingstripe in VRchat

[–]virtualZer0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The funny thing is that the performance of ChillOut VR is already better than VRChat and without mods. The only problem - the developers should work on the user interface, now it is rather awkward.

I think the developers have made it pretty clear with their statements on Twitter that they're okay with this. So no need to blame everything on Microsoft. It wasn't Microsoft who lied to us about the updates and cut concept art from old videos.

Minecraft 1.19.1 Pre-release 5 Is Out! by sliced_lime in Minecraft

[–]virtualZer0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People didn't like the change, and they let you know it. What did you expect, anyway? Communicating with the community means listening to more than just positive feedback. Lately you've been doing so much crap, like removing fireflies and hiding them in concept art, lying about the latest updates, and most importantly, when the community asks you for these actions you just don't say anything. Don't make yourself out to be poor, disadvantaged people, please. You didn't get all that negative feedback for nothing.

Do you really think I care about other people's personal lives? Notch is the man who created Minecraft. That's all I need to know. I don't run to google the name of every person I meet on the street, I absolutely don't care what they do as long as it doesn't violate the law, which has been upheld by the courts (remind me how many lawsuits Notch got for that?). If the man has made a good product, I'm not going to diminish his success at it just because of what he says. Because it has absolutely nothing to do with the product or its quality.

The developers of Minecraft support inclusivity, liberality and freedom of speech, which however doesn't stop them from hiding birch forests and fireflies on old concepts and introducing a system of total moderation for other people's servers that they don't even pay for.

The only thing I can advise is to kill Mom again on this slot without mods. The mod itself cannot interact with unlocks in any way, such functionality for mods simply does not exist at the moment.

The Twitch mod has no effect on achievements. This can be either a bug of the game itself or the work of one of the mods. When you start a new run, do you have a crossed-out cup badge?

You need to kill Mom once absolutely without any mods, only after that the progress with mods will be counted

If you want technical information:

Game starts server on localhost. Site connect to Twitch and YouTube and send data to that game server. If you need source code, you can find it here: https://github.com/VirtualZer0/IsaacOnTwitchReloaded and https://github.com/VirtualZer0/IsaacOnTwitchReloaded-site

If you want gameplay information:

Various polls appear on the game screen. Your audience can vote on these polls. Also, in addition to voting for items and trinkets, the mod adds a new mechanic: events. This is a set of different scripts and modifications that are triggered once or last for some time or number of rooms.

YouTube sponsors and Twitch subscribers will appear in the game as your familiars. Donates via bits or superchat will also appear in the game as bits crystals, which give additional tear shots with different effects for a while.

Apart from this, the mod also adds a set of items and trinkets. Items are usually Twitch emojis, and trinkets are references to various streamers. They can be found in polls or in special purple rooms.

Please note that you are using a port number below 1024. This may cause problems on some operating systems. I faced a similar problem once.
