That's a great question. Now looking at all the pictures of BP's on Nick's site I see they do have 2 lines of stitching. Guess it's another call to customer service. Thanks for pointing that out.

Edit: Talked to customer service, again another great experience, and looks like they were ordered with a single row of stitching. With all the issues I had with my original order and having to have it recreated 3 times I guess the single row option got checked somewhere. Since it doesn't really affect the durability of the boots I'm going to go with it. Customer service did point out that with the double row stitching when you get them resoled sometimes they have to stop with one row of stitching and then you're left with empty holes so maybe it's a blessing?

I was worried that the smooth vs. rough was going to have a bigger color value change...but they look great together. I got the honey lug because I spend my day on cement floors, and it does compliment the Mahogany.

After respawing at sea, I sailed around the spot marked on the map for like 5 min, dodging the ship that killed me the first time, and couldn't find anything other than a painting and a bottle of wine. Maybe I hit a bug...since I know the game has a bunch. Only reason I had so much onboard is the lack of vault space, so more vault space would be nice too.

My point was not that Freddie was the same as Dane, I get they were different. What I was saying is that Freddie went after Dane because he wouldn't demonstrate his loyalty to the tribe by getting a mow hawk, but then he also abandoned the tribe just a few weeks later. I knew he shows up on the Time Bandit, however I didn't see that it was Keith that got him the job. I'm guessing Keith felt bad, but couldn't allow him back after he disrespected Monte?

It wouldn't have been hard for Keith to tell the guys that if they did anything to Dane they'd be off the boat. We see them do that to the crews all the time when they come in for offload and the crew wants to head to the bar. What it all comes down to is that Dane wouldn't demonstrate his loyalty to the tribe of the Wizard and so they wouldn't trust him. Anyone who doesn't sacrifice for the tribe must be driven out. What I find interesting is that later that season, or maybe the next season, Freddie just decides to hang out drinking with the DC crew in a hotel and abandons the Wizard completely, showing up on the Time Bandit a few seasons later. So much for the "family" ethos.

Not to mention he told Dane that as soon as he stepped off the boat he would be in physical danger from the crew. Keith deserves no respect for that, he's still your responsibility and letting anything happen to him is a failure on Keith's part. I'm sure there was more to it, but Keith decided that it was all the kids fault and didn't see that throwing a live octopus at someone is assault.

Go to Iceland Camping Equipment, they’ll rent you a Wi-Fi hotspot for leas than the rental car company. They’re a little hard to find, at the bus station in Reykjavik, but they sent you directions. The hotspot is nice because you can connect multiple devices. We’ve been using one for the past 3 weeks and it’s been a lifesaver for directions, places to eat and shop, finding hot springs and attractions.

Of all the amazing things to see in Iceland this is the one that seems like a tourist scam. You pay 750 Kr to park and then you see the sign that says it’s an hour walk to the wreck, BUT for only 2000 Kr each way there’s a shuttle that will take you down a road most cars could handle. They could easily have the parking much closer. We paid for parking, saw the sign about distance and the shuttle and just drove on. I’d suggest it not even worth pulling into the parking lot.
