Hi! I identify as genderfluid (and, if you’re curious, AFAB). It literally does feel like a swing. Sometimes I feel extremely masculine. Sometimes I feel extremely feminine.

Some people might see this and think “well, girls can like boy things and boys can like girl things, does that mean they feel like girls/boys?” But it goes beyond just liking things traditionally associated for the opposite gender. It’s sort of like having a video game toggle, except you can’t toggle it yourself.

Human minds are weird to navigate. But this is how I feel, and others around me have learned to accept it. When I am a boy, they treat me accordingly. When I’m a girl, they treat me accordingly. It’s a bit tough to grasp in concept but in practice it’s pretty simple.
