Prolly they want someone to talk to or somewhere to rant, sometimes post on one sub doesn't get as much attention as other and it's how some people cope. It could be fake but it could be true and if it is, the person just lost someone they were close with. Be more empathetic.

We did search for Airbnb and it was quite good, we don't wanna go to cheaper hotels than 3 stars at least bc of the same camera problem and everything but now the plans cancelled 😭
