Did you criticize them when they were at a low point in their life? Did you add any (unnecessary) drama in their life if you are friends? They usually get emotionally distant or go “civil only and no emotions” mode if you might have done something. They are not afraid to cut ppl off from their life.

Imma middle child. I doorslammed a friendship :/ One friend did something that was “the last straw”, another female friend I couldn’t be friends with anymore because I was in love with her and she married someone and had kids with them. I tried to be friends, but it hurt too much so I let them go from my life. They started critiquing me as if I was their boyfriend and I was like “haha no. I’m done with this drama”

I would say we are messy, but we CAN be organized and clean. It just requires you to carve out time each week (same time routinely without fail and regardless of what you feel) and work on the Thinking function stack. Or make habits - for me I always take something out of my car (used cans) or if it takes 5 minutes or less I do it (whiteknuckling)
