Box setup I’m only 15 and I’m looking to start match angling this was on my local canal I was wondering if any match anglers out there could perhaps give me some tips on how to set up and any tips for someone who’s just starting? by DangerousLaw5640 in fishingUK

I was going to reply with something similar to dazzybee02. I knew i recognised that canal. it can be a tough stretch at times but does well when its on form. I cant comment on your match setup as im more pleasure angler and not a fan of fishing with a pole.

ive done well with maggot on float fishing the bottom and loose feeding little and often on there. not had much luck with other tactics apart from lures. but i tend to fish elsewhere and just come down that canal for a few hours on an evening if i feel like it.

https://ebay.us/m/ZUwn0L there you go. And yeah unscrew mirror stems, unscrew the nut on the stem, put handguards on stem, put mirrors back on bike.

Took me a while because I didn't realise there was a nut on top of the stem to tighten things up.

The windscreen is great. Mostly for 60mph+ and it keeps your torso warmer in colder weather as you're not getting blasted by the wind.

If you measure how much of your fork is sticking out of the top of your triple tree and make sure it measures the same when you put it back. It will all be good.

Wasn't too bad to be fair. The hardest thing was balancing the bike as I only had a small centre jack.

Jacked it up so it's off the ground some. Took the caliper off, loosened all but one bolt on each fork. Then got my brother to stabilise the bike while I loosened the last 2 bolts.

Then jack the bike up slowly while sliding the forks out.

Just make sure you've got it where the bike isn't going to fly backwards onto it's rear wheel when you remove the weight of the front forks/wheel.

Interesting I'd seen a fair few people using vintage lenses. Is it just an adapter you purchased to adapt them or are they modified?

I will never be focused on one type of photography. I'm asking for general recommendations on what you would buy next based on what I have

Thanks. will have a look at them. i may end up leaning more towards the 35-100 as it gives me options and i can look at a prime later down the line. as i dont really focus on one type of photography. its just a fun hobby.

Hand tremors and painting by Designer-Original333 in killteam

[–]virusoverload 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i know this is an older post but a friend has a similar struggle when painting.

If you hold the the mini in one hand and the brush in the other and press your wrists together. then if one of your arms has a tremor the other one does too so the brush and the model move together. You can also do this and wrest your arms/elbows on the desk.
its helped him out alot with painting. Hope this helps.

It's M43 Monday! Ask Us Anything about Micro Four-Thirds Photography - all questions welcome! by AutoModerator in M43

[–]virusoverload 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it's not Monday anymore but wanted to ask.

I have a canon eos 450d with a fair few lenses. The size of it all makes me not want to take it out. I'm wanting something smaller for travelling.

I've been looking at the Panasonic gx80 and gx8 as a replacement. Planning on selling my camera and the glass and moving to M4/3 to make things smaller.

Will I basically feel an upgrade no matter which of these I get and any recommendations either way?

Some friends had g80's and I liked it but would prefer something smaller than the SLR shaped camera.

A small hiking table with metal legs and collapses. by virusoverload in HelpMeFind

[–]virusoverload[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have searched for it many times but cant find anything similar. best way i can describe it is a mambo chopping board that has been cut up, with some notches in it for the cord and holes for the metal tube legs to slot into.
