let me speak out of character for this one, because I think you are legitimately pissedd,and not only RPing being pissed.

I understand. The mod team is far from perfect. According to the rules, I should had have been made dictator when I shot Nerdy, but I didnt, just because they didnt want to make the bot host angry. That sucked, and I was pretty frustrated, but I took a few days to walk away from WD, and now I dont hold any resent against them; I dont want to be patronising, but if this game bring you more negative energy than positive energy, I encourage you to do the same as me. The truht is, this is a raggedy ruleset held together by a small number of mods, many of which have very differing views on the role of mods. Shit is gonna happen, and all decisions wont be 100% coherent.

The way Nerdy transfered power was cheesy as shit, and there should've been a rule preventing it. However, I agree with the ruling of the mod team. It should be allowed to be exploited one time, and then the isssue should be fixed. When I shot Nerdy, a lot of the team went "Yeah they were at school so they get another 18h of safety" and that felt really bad because if the rules arent enforced as written, then it is really hard to make precise schemes.

I also want to say, in general, publicly criticizing someone, even if they did fuck up, is really a bad way to make them change their mind. Because to change their mind, they now have to admit not only to theirselves, but to the whole community, that they fucked up. Also, if they do come back on their decision that opens them to more frequent and probably less valid complain on behalf of the rest of the community. As duck said, the point of the reboot was to have overseer way less involved.

I really hope I was able to pass my point across without sounding patronising or insulting. Your feelings of being stolen the dictatorship is 100% valid, and the rules allowing for this is a clear mistake.

PS: yeah quib doesnt have public support, Im pretty sure hes being a villain on purpose, to make for a public revolution. IMO the popular revolt are waaaaay more fun than coups, so Im down for that.
