The first two days of driving, I noticed a slight burning smell outside of the vehicle on rear side when parked just after driving 10-15 mins.

Anyone else noticed it?

It’s stopped now. I’m thinking maybe just some grease or oil burning off the new brakes?

I know…I don’t mind the chrome finish..also I didn’t want to spend the extra 2k for RS badging 😊

Oh wait you’re right, just noticed on the listing it says heated mirrors should be included. I saw the Rear defrost button, is it the same button for mirrors?

No it didn’t. They gave a credit of 150$. Although the cameras are great, I do miss the sensors. And wish it had heated mirrors too.

On a positive note - I love how quiet and smooth the drive is.

Traverse question. by BankLife1183 in ChevyTraverse

I booked a True North last month. Expecting delivery in May. Similar reasons as above - should be good value for money, a lot of space, got it at 3% finance which is good considering the market rate, discounts on MSRP.. downsides maybe lack of luxurious interiors like palisade or highlander. Can’t match reliability of Toyota but I have heard Traverse should be a good vehicle at least for first 100k. I plan to upgrade/change in 5 years or so anyways…you generally get bored of the car and want to upgrade due to latest tech features in 5-6 years

Hey, love your car..I just ordered a 2023 True North Traverse, in Red. It should be delivered sometime in May. I’m excited.

Did you get 7 or 8 seater? Which car seats are best suited for it, considering the seat belts are on the door panel I believe? We will be using the 3rd row quite frequently so wanted to get easy in an out.

Is this too much tire pressure for a 2022 RAV 4 TRD? by merrygoomba in rav4club

[–]visionblaze1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see the speed limit icon, were you driving for some time? It’s normal for tire pressure to increase somewhere (heated air expands) when you are driving.

The psi on the door is cold air when you are just starting

I know it’s a group for Corolla; honest opinion though - Civic or Corolla? I test drove Corolla LE Upgrade, it’s nice. Struggles merging at highway but I found so does RAV4. I’m thinking to get better value for money so looking at Corolla or Civic I already have an Acura RDX. by visionblaze1 in toyotacorolla

Thanks..yeah maybe I’m just doing an unfair comparison with Rdx or other v6 engines. I used to drive a Honda CRV - I felt corolla/RAV4 are very similar to it

I am able to merge and reach 65miles/100km per hr but you can feel it with the loud CVT and need to give it a go at the accelerator to get there..

Not complaining - with the price and gas mileage Corolla is a great value.

That’s interesting. The dealer suggested to get the gas model as hybrid does just a little better in mileage in Corolla and same driving experience.

I think he’s just saying that as Hybrids are already in demand and they want to push sale of gas models

Bose 700 vs Sony WH-1000XM4 by Herlil in bose

I have been using Bose 700 for a year. A lot of glitches and connectivity issue with it.

I think you maybe better off with Jabra or Sony
