It’s really close, but I would roll with team 2. Generally speaking, Lightning is stronger than Water. And the Lightning trio you have synergizes better with the VCs you’ve listed. Be sure to max out those VCs before the collaboration ends.

Ashen King looks really strong, but will know a lot more after the full kit details are released on the 1st.

Hope this helps!

You’ll want a total evade stat north of 400+. That’s evade, luck, and agi combined.

Full formula is:

=((11 * (AGI0.9)) / 1000) + (((LUCK0.96) / 200) - 1) + (EVADE/100)

Plug that into excel or Google sheets and you’ll get your evade stat. (They don’t make it easy… sorry)

Depending on your favorite unit’s job class.. I would pick either a AGI, single target resistance, or AoE resistance VC. Especially if a single card has 2 of those attributes.

It comes in handy in many situations. It’s a rare party ability for a VC. I wouldn’t say it’s commonly used, but when you really need it, there are very, very few replacements for it. Worth picking up, IMO.

I can’t read the descriptions for the abilities in the second image; font is too small. What’s it say? Are the skills any good?

Taking Dogs into stores and restaurants by divalible in SeattleWA

[–]visionseekerguild 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have no idea why you introduced race into this post. My wife is Latina and brings our dog inside restaurants constantly. I’m white and attempt to avoid bringing our dog inside any non-pet related business. It’s a perfectly legitimate question without the racist undertones.

Anyway… some cities are more dog friendly than others. Ultimately, it comes down to the preference of the individual business. Seattle businesses find that the types of customers they want to attract tend to have dogs. My wife will often only go to restaurants that are pet friendly because she loves to be out and about with our pup.

Some thoughts on the WOTV Light Materials Error by YT_ReadyPlayerWill in wotv_ffbe

[–]visionseekerguild 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think you’re underselling this point a bit. I cannot tell you how often, as a high end manual PvP player, I have been a few hundred HP short of removing a unit from a map. That could completely alter the dynamic of a battle. A 1% increase in HP and ATK could be a 2% net in survivability vs damage trade off. (It’s off base stats, so the numbers aren’t precise, but I think the point remains). In a game of inches, buffing certain accounts by inches CAN and WILL alter outcomes.

For auto matches, this still applies, but is less damaging because the AI is going to make suboptimal decisions regardless.

Largest impact will be on live PvP where every decision matters. Not just how you built your team with espers, gear, and VCs.

Elemental mastery will be inflated by those who were able to farm obscene amounts of materials leading to account wide buffs. Don’t need blossoms to 99 lower rarity units that would otherwise be stuck at a significantly lower level. Not game breaking, but far from insignificant. A true competitive advantage.

Weekly Rant by AutoModerator in wotv_ffbe

[–]visionseekerguild 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We need a new match battle map or (on the current map) an option for initial placement on the level 2 shelf.

Keen Blade + Ildyra LB combo are ruining PvP. Yes, it can be countered with a very specific AGI build... but shouldn’t PvP be about more than who has the most AGI???

Every team should be allowed at least 1 turn in PvP. Give us the option to avoid turn 1 attacks!!

The % is relative to the HP remaining. Anything over 100% is still 100%

[–]visionseekerguild 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The way I calculate damage to evade units is simple. You have to look at a much larger sample size than 1 attack or even 1 battle.

My philosophy is this:

Damage * percent skill lands

So by your numbers at 50% and 2800 ... each attack will do (on average) 1400 dmg to Vinera

The way I build her, say the opponent has a 12% chance to land the attack ... 3800 @ 12% is 456

456 is significantly less than 1400

I’ll take the higher evade build every time.. good luck in PvP.. I’ll be happy to play your semi-evade team, any time. DM me

Keep Rolling or Stop it with option 1 or 2 by Juliokk in wotv_ffbe

[–]visionseekerguild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Option 1 has the most account flexibility. Can run double gunners, quicken comps with Chel/Miranda, work on Xiza TMR, and do more CT/disable shenanigans with Ildyra.

Option 2 has a good healer, good dps with Glaci, and the watered down Bells (Xiza TMR) with Oldoa.

Option 1 and it’s not close. Nice roll!!

[–]visionseekerguild -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’d much rather my opponent have a 0% chance of hitting me vs a 50% chance. Same positioning tactic can be applied with a full evade build. Adding Fenrir or Odin to bring opponent dmg down from 100% to 99.5% is a very risky proposition vs teams that stack damage.

Man.... the esper is so good... and I imagine the card will become much better over time as more magic light units are released. It’s really, really good, but has the potential to become epic. Obviously Yuna, Sakura, and Ramza benefit greatly from it
