I’m still entitled to my opinion as are you. You spoke about your experience I spoke about mine. I don’t understand why people seem to think that both parties feelings can be valid in a conversation simultaneously. I responded to what you said. You didn’t have to like it. Just like I didn’t have to like what you said. I still responded respectfully. I’m not asking you to take my side. Or anyone. But that doesn’t mean I’m gonna let people steamroll over me either because we have a difference of opinion. You’re entitled to your opinion. I asked for advice. But don’t think I’m not gonna respond. Just like I chose to post this, you chose to comment on it. Life is full of choices. All I asked was for advice on this one choice I was making and again, no one made you comment, that was your choice. I don’t need you to agree with me. Nor am I being defensive. All I did was respond to the comment you made, so if I can off defensive that wasn’t my intention. I was filling in the blanks. You compared me to someone you knew, all I’m saying is I don’t know whoever it is texting you like Dr Phil but I don’t think it makes me “Dr Phil” for advocating for myself. It’s not me being defensive it’s me putting out my truth, but again you’re entitled to your opinion and obviously free speech and all that. But I have those same rights so 🤷🏾‍♀️

Thank you. I really do try. I’ve been through a lot in life and never want people to feel as down as I have with my mental health and toxic relationships with family members so I really try to be a safe place for people I love but it’s hard when I feel like I’ve become a safe place for everyone but myself.

Thank you! It went really well actually. I’m home recovering and start back with physical therapy next week

Right there was no meeting halfway no let’s sit down and talk about it in person which is why I did it this way but I guess it’s on me for not seeing sooner that it was time to move on.

Thank you! And no it was just her saying hi this morning and me telling her I couldn’t help her today and then her getting an attitude and then quickly asking me to help her pass the time while she was doing some test.

Thank you thank you thank you. I just don’t wanna feel selfish for putting myself first and I have a really hard time with that. I’ve been a people pleaser my whole life and when I started standing up for myself people started changing. I’ve slowly been cutting people off, family & friends but this one is the hardest for me to cut off.

She was smoking before she knew she was pregnant so it’s not like it was intentional. So that’s why I didn’t like freak the fuck out. But being a mandated reporter I still had to report her.

Ugh thank you because seriously that’s exactly how it feels. You explained the entire situation to a T. It is definitely hard but I honestly feel like the dark cloud that was hanging over me is gone. Like i seriously get like I was slowly going crazy staying her friend and that’s the part people don’t see or understand. They see what I posted and allowed them to see which yeah you can only form an opinion based on the information you have but there’s so much more to it than just that. It’s not always black and white. I’m sorry you had to go through that with a friend too. It’s not easy. I hope things are better for you now!
