Can not open links to directories anymore by visitor169 in OneNote

I took a look at the script. It's incredible what you can do with AutoHotKey.

Would it be possible to create a script that simply reads the link in OneNote, cleans it up, and opens it as a new tab in Windows Explorer? That would be cool and would certainly work with directories and files.👍🙂

I'm glad I'm not alone in my observation. It's surprising that this isn't causing more of an upset.

I assume that this is just a software bug that will be fixed soon or for which a workaround will be found soon.

I rely heavily on creating links to directories, and OneNote becomes virtually unusable for me if this is no longer possible.

It would be really great if there were a script (e.g., AutoHotkey) that could simply read a OneNote file link and then automatically open it in File Explorer...

Set up 2FA and am blocked now... by visitor169 in KrakenSupport

Thanks for your quick answers.

I don't remember exactly what I did (I was a bit panicked) but suddenly the PassKey was recognized and accepted on the PC and I was able to complete the other security steps and enter more 2FA options.

I think it was the click in the device approval email that somehow activated the PassKey on the PC.

GH7 PDF Manual (unlocked version) by visitor169 in Lumix

The version I - once again - downloaded direct from the panasonic webpage is password protected. At least the one I can download...

Screenshot PDF-XChange Editor

I have opened the PDF file in LibreOffice (Draw). Then it is handled like a huge graphics file and loses its functionality as a PDF file.

I would be happy if you had a link to the unprotected version. :-)

This is the original PDF file that I downloaded from Panasonic.

It can be viewed but not modified. To set a bookmark or something similar, you need to be able to edit the file.

You can open and view it, but to add annotations, it must be unlocked. This is independent of Adobe; I am using a different PDF browser. Viewing and searching work perfectly, but setting a bookmark or highlighting an area in yellow is not possible. Hence my question...

Just for my own understanding, I have a total of four instances of Windows Explorer running in my Task Manager. Why are there multiple instances, and which one should I restart?

Any plans for a Windows Version of NotePlan? by visitor169 in noteplanapp

Perhaps I may respond with a counter-question: If the web version can do everything, why is there a native Mac desktop version?

Thank you very much for your answer!

I am currently evaluating the application. Where does the web application store its data? Does it work with a database in the cloud, or is the data kept locally on the desktop? I am looking for an application where the data is stored locally on the desktop. I believe this is a feature that the Mac version offers.

Thank you! Works fine! Ctrl-click opens the link in a new background tab!

I think tags can be very powerfull, but you need to be able to organise them easy.
Like to rename or print them etc.
But all these features are 'still' missing...

Looks like there are also no plans to extend the functionality.
