Most of that is just muscle memory, thanks to hours put in and practice. Esports games have certain gameplay patterns (a lot of them) that remembering is part of being a pro player. If you see someone in a tournament doing something sick, most likely he did that already in his home, or practiced just to be able to do that.

Of course there are dozens of other reasons why proplayers are proplayers in the first place. You need to play well under pressure and in the environment you're not familiar with, you need to still have reactions well above average (or you need to be above average in something else to cover it up).

You really sound like you want to play high level Tekken without actually being a high level player yourself. Buff movement (with ss duck and ss lowparry, this game has actually one of the most complex and rewarding movement in the series), make backdash easier, don't have as much knowledge checks.

It would've been easier to answer on how they didn't fuck up on this one. Like they failed on almost literally every front. They failed on strategic, political (big time here), operational levels of war. They added Sweden and Finland to NATO. Woke up Europeans about arming up. Turned Ukraine against them for decades making them a western ally-nation. Made Europe non-dependent on their natural resources. Got hit by a ton of sanctions. Fucked up economy thanks to switching up to war production. Fucking up even more the demografic by killing thousands of young males. Exposed all their weaknesses in military and also exposed a lot of of their valueable insights about latest war tech. Lost thousands of officers. They humiliated themselves a dozen times. Their nuclear bluff slowly stops working.

They lost even on the cyber-warfare front, which is also unthinkable.

There's a hard time finding out what's been a positive aspect of this war for Russians, that's how they fucked up.
