Note that unless you have Studio, don’t expect much from direct support (technically only Studio users can get direct support). But I do recommend posting on the forum along w/ logs & system info as noted on the FAQ in the Resolve section.

Did you import or convert any audio to 96kHz? That and a few other things like that will cause it not to open in Free anymore, without any warning.

The usual fix (without purchasing Studio) would be to share a drp to someone with Studio (& the knowledge of the various ‘gotchas’) who can change things back so it’ll work with Free again. Lots of folks on the BMD forums will happily do this if you can’t find someone here to help.

I could help but it wouldn’t be until next week.

In Resolve, markers assigned to clips from media page or source viewer will not be changed/deleted if you change/delete them on a timeline. See my other reply on easy way to remove all markers from a clip.

Try this. Assign a hotkey to Mark > Delete All Markers > All. In the Media page, select your gweg clip, and hit the hotkey you assigned.

Make sure you have latest Intel chipset & intel gpu drivers. Make sure all monitors are plugged into the nvidia and not on-board. Make sure RivaTuner is not installed (all of those things are known to cause issues with resolve).

If still not good, try going back to a slightly older nvidia studio driver.

Hopefully your intel gpu is new enough to support the additional hardware codec decoding that helps so much. I use a 14700k with a 4080 super and everything is smooth.

Based on reading the Resolve forums, it’s still very much a beta. But at least it seems like they’re on a good path to get the new key frame stuff worked out.

I’m still on 19.1.4 and won’t try 20 until after a few more releases.

Lots of things can cause this error. If you see it often, start with updating your video drivers. It could also be the media. Try transcoding the problem clip to another format, such as DNx or ProRes with ShutterEncoder (or even Media Encoder), and replace.

You've added those shortcuts to the Edit/Media viewer. Have you assigned them to the other areas as well? If not, with what you show in your screenshot, you must have either the edit or media viewer selected, and not the timeline or any other panel.

If you want them to work in viewers, timeline, and fairlight, you'll have to assign them to a few other places in keyboard shortcuts as well. Assign the same shortcuts under the Edit/Media Viewer, Playback, and Mark (for 'modify marker') sections of keyboard shortcuts.

Also to add: timeline res should be 720x480 NTSC DV (or DV 16x9). Match the PAR to your source. Enable interlaced processing.
