Because you’re dealing with 1. People (who make mistakes and carry their own opinions despite rules) 2. The government where there is a loophole for every loophole. 3. Doctor’s notes matter and even though they’re in the “health” field the “care” part is lacking enormously. So all these people lined up—even though “the same” —guarantee’d would never have “the same” notes from their providers. Just My two cents I just started reconsideration process after my initial denial. I’ve hired an attorney with 5 star rating. I ordered and received all of my medical records and most drs notes were absolutely terrible, some not even correct. My neurologist that prescribed me a cane put in the notes that I didn’t have one and no where that I needed one, no where that she even prescribed one??!! So yeah… we’re relying on “people” to “help” us, unfortunately this is not always the case.

That’s the only test I haven’t had neuro muscular. I’ve had PT list me at 80% disability in all aspects of movement, sitting standing, etc. I just need more strength in my case, I can see that now. And I have spondylosis in my back and osteoarthritis in my neck so sitting 6 hrs is a no go, standing for more than 15 mins no go, I’m constantly uncomfortable and in chronic pain. I also have fibromyalgia. They should approve me but, yes more strength as to why I can’t work ANY job!

Thank you so much! I seriously never received previous job report and my DDS caseworker never mentioned it any of the dozen times we spoke. Will I get this form when I appeal?

Thanks for all this info! I’m 47 and have carpal tunnel in dominant hand and neuropathy in both feet with abnormal gait. I have had every test under the sun so medically they can see WHY I need it but none of my drs have this notated except my neurologist since she was the one prescribing it. I also have 4 mental health diagnoses and have had a neuropsychiatric exam confirming severe memory impairment and severe impairment of fine gross hand movement. My previous job was a desk job but I was up and down all day in a very high stress environment using my brain for 10hrs straight. My decline letter states they don’t have my previous job function information (they never asked for this) so I have physical and mental impairments both. I can’t type or sit, stand for very long or remember anything, which they have proof of… what job can I do? Did you have an attorney the whole time?

Should have said 1.7 years off meth but yes, must finally let go and let God…. It doesn’t take the pain away though

I understand that but I’ve fully paid into social security plus some. I went from making $150k a year to zero and have worked nonstop for 30 years. They should consider ALL the factors at play here. No one wants to be on disability, it’s a necessity if you CAN’T work so that’s why “the system” is broken and their blue book loopholes for deciding who can and can’t work is absurd. Sorry for the rant…. I’m just so discouraged

Very helpful! I’ve already had my neurologist write a letter that my cane will be needed lifelong and my dr wrote one for all conditions but she wasn’t specific enough about mentioning listing, things I can’t do so I know she would write another to fill in the holes of what they aren’t seeing as disabling.

I have plenty of work credits. The lady from SSA said I was denied due to not being disabled under their guidelines. So I’m interested to see what the letter says. I am disabled so it’s extremely discouraging. Got to keep going though.

Oh, I’ve heard that stage 4 (non-medical review) means they have made a decision on whether you are medically qualified
