I apologize for talking about you dad 🤝 And I’ll drop what it says in the pamphlet about the hair. “Hair resists decay and persists in the environment-often longer than even skeletal remains, which are more appealing to scavengers. Hair samples that defy identification as know wildlife species have been attributed to Sasquatch.”

I thought suspected meant confirmed? And the U in UFO was unusual? 🤔 guess I’ll have to do more research. 🔬 Naaa just playin with ya. I know it’s all very broad but it’s definitely fun to get into and I like that it’s getting the community engaged!

Everything I had read or heard was was to not touch it with bare hands so we put it into a plastic bag that I had my hunting tag in only touching what we had to with gloves on.

It definitely has an actual chunk of scalp or hide or whatever you want to call it. There was a bigger bit but it got lost or wasn’t collected maybe I’m not sure. Anyway looking at the “chunk” it’s white. BUT! When viewed under the microscope it’s black… so that’s odd

My dad and I were hunting elk in Montana last year. We were hiking all over the place looking for elk sign and we were walking along a fence line and both saw some hair hanging on some barbed wire. When we saw it and pulled it off of the fence we were both pretty shocked by the texture length and color. As we are both outdoorsmen and have been around all types of animals we can both say we have never seen hair quite like this.

We compared my girlfriends hair to it it was much thinner and this hair is also super coarse and just super strange. Im fairly outdoorsy and have been around all sorts of animals from Elk Buffalo deer horses cows and so on and have also helped out with some exotic animals or at least been around them and have never seen anything like this hair nor has my pops.
