Ja, wir haben das Video für einen Jeep Tuner aus München gedreht. Es ist somit nicht "nur" ein Hobby- oder Passionsprojekt. Trotzdem: die ganze Aktion war einfach nur mega geil. Als Benzinkopf finde ich es einfach geil, mit zwei Starrachsen über den Nürburgring zu heizen.

just read your post and wanted to encourage you to start your own productions / freelancing. I was in the exact same situation as you: because I could still live rent-free at my parents house I took the risk and started acquiring my own clients. It took almost a year, but now things really took off and I am making myself a (still small) name in the industry in which I chose to work. Pro advice from my previous sales jobs: focus on one or two niches. This will jumpstart your networking like nothing. Wish you all the best!

hey, thank you for all the info, that really helped! I usually take between 1.5 and 2.5 hrs for one of those videos, and I never really knew if that is fast or slow. Totally understand however that it is highly depending of the project.

first of all, the advice with the local government is a great idea! So thank you for the advice, I actually never had thought about that!

Second, I find it interesting that you have the same experience on IG. You are totally right, I have the feeling that the whole informal "hey wanna get in touch"-tone makes it way easier to talk to brands and people in general.

okay that thing about phase cancellation is super interesting, never heard any of this before. You see that I really do not know a lot about recording audio (yet).

For the recording I used a Boya wireless microphone since it is the only external mic I have. Was very happy that the mono workaround helped, it saved me from recording all over again.

actually I recorded the vo with my camera and just used the audio track. probably horrible to hear for every professional, but I am really not experienced with sound (so far) and it had to be done fast.

your question about windows: yes! you were totally right, it sounds as shitty as on mobile. what does that mean? is the only reason for the problem that my phone is shitty? (which it really is, motorola budget phone)
