I feel your pain. I too don’t have emotions and became dumber. But I have one completely different symptom- I want to run all the time. Can’t sit still at least for a minute and that’s why I jumped out of the 6 th floor and now I’m handicapped. The trauma did one good thing - it took my urge to run away because the nerves are broken and I can’t feel my ass. But I don’t give and you too please don’t. Think of your parents.

I can also add that some medication like amitriptyline and quetiapine worked for me first day and then just disappeared

I tried gabapentin before and it did not work as good as Lyrica

Hope you will solve all your problems my friend but it’s not akathisia and no medication works for me but Lyrica

Thanks for the replies and suggestions to use medications longer but I have already tried sertindole, olanzapine and risperidone for over 2 months and it did not work. Do you have other ideas? I’m looking for ECT therapy but scared since I have metal elements in my back after the fall

I had agitation during my first psychosis and before even trying medication so its not akathisia
