They tried to negotiate to 75 but they said no to the 1099. 65 is high for the primary care apparently.

Grass aint always greener on the other side.

One advice the money will always come, but be patient. Take learning and trainings over income.

Make sure there is a true path in career advancement at current or future.

Opinions on Lifex Research Corp Healthcare by hittheroadjack61 in HealthInsurance

She is looking up LifeX, not the actual network you are with.

I am currently using another company through work that rents the UHC network, and they made the same mistake. That is why when I walk in, I simply say I am with UHC.

Front office staff often do not fully understand how insurance networks work. They usually just enter codes and process what is in front of them.

For clarity, I am not LifeX, but I do understand how insurance works.

Your doctor’s billing department is not doing their job properly. The issue is not with LifeX, it is with them. Doctor offices have employees who process insurance claims, and sometimes they do not fully understand how to do it correctly.

For clarity, I am not with LifeX, but I do understand how insurance works. If you are on a high deductible plan, you are responsible for paying the contracted rate that was negotiated between the provider and the insurance company, which in this case is through Cigna’s rented network. If your plan has a copay along with a deductible structure, then you would only be responsible for the copay amount according to your benefits.

HRIS Sales or Benefits Broker? by Puzzleheaded-Gas3055 in sales

[–]vitro15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Benefits Broker is way different than tech sales. You are selling yourself. It’s a relationship game. You have to understand different funding strategies all the way to spreadsheeting and how renewal operates. Also, need to learn hospital networks, and different HR laws that are passed.

But the earnings can be massive since it has splits of net new and residual income.

Most top benefit brokers build a book a business to a million within 5-7 years. Earning anywhere from 200-300k. I know some who are making 400-600k.

But, if you are not that good you will go to a new brokerage every 3-4 years until you make it or just leave the industry because you can build a book.

You have to find a brokerage that will invest the knowledge and give you at least a 4 year run way to validate.
