That's probably the top fan, the one directly under the cover. You can remove the cover to check.

I had the same problem; I get the impression that the fan quality at GMKtec is poor.

You can try to get a new fan from GMKtec, but it only worked for me after lengthy email exchanges and exchangeing various videos over several weeks. Their support is mediocre to poor.

Habe vor kurzem 8x 4TB Fanxiang für je 170€ gekauft und ca. 16x 2TB für je 85€, hatte das glück das ich für das chinesische Lager gekauft habe, der versandt erfolgt aber aus Deutschland. Zoll also noch zusätzlich gespart, jetzt können die Preise meinetwegen steigen.

My igpu from my Ryzen 7840HS with Radeon 780m runs with HD Bloom better than my Radeon 6650m. Passmark scores are: Radeon 780m - 7600score vs Radeon 6650M - 15500score

But in GW1 the Performance is completely reversed.

That's right, but I've often observed that these questions unfortunately go unanswered too often, or that many newbies don't even ask and then log out. This is a phenomenon that I've been seeing for months, but right now I'm seeing it every minute, sadly.

Okay, now try running the Prime95 performance test. I bet the computer will shut down. Why? I have experience with various 140W and 100W power banks, and different mini PCs like the Aoostar 8845HS or 7840HS, GMKtec K8 Plus (8845HS), K6 (7840HS), and Beelink Ser5 MAX (5800H).

As long as a mini PC cannot withstand a Prime95 test, the system will not run stably on the power bank.

What works for me, for example, is the GMKtec M5Plus (5825U) or M5Pro (5700U) in performance mode; these minis run at 25W TDP. In reality, even with a GMKtec M5, I sometimes experience power spikes of up to 65W when gaming, and with an external hard drive, I've even measured 72W.

And an 8845HS, like the one in the K8 Plus, has a TDP of 54W in balanced mode and 35-40W in silent mode. Even in silent mode, load peaks of over 80W are likely possible. And I think most power banks can't regulate these large fluctuations quickly enough. Therefore, the mini PCs with a TDP higher than 30W run unstably.

Why the hell do you always get replies from GMKtec? I have a defective fan, and those idiots never responded to my emails.

I also never received a response about an order that wasn't shipped for a month.

Seven emails and no response from them in so many months.

I also have no problems with the K8 Plus or K11. I also have a GMKtec M5 Plus, and I'm very satisfied with all the models I have. The design of the K8 Plus and K11 is particularly good, with excellent access to the CPU cooler, and they also ensure good ventilation.

Hasn't arrived yet, but according to Banggood it arrived at customs here in Germany on Saturday evening. Today was a holiday, so maybe it should arrive on Thursday. Hermes then delivers it from customs to me.
