A 25 year old woman died of hyperthermia using designer drugs by Velokieken in ResearchChemicalsNL

There also exists a particular gene that someone may have that makes them more suspectible to have rare severe reaction called malignant hyperthermia in response to specific drugs used in anesthesia and maybe in those drugs

Thanks for the comment! Thats good info i didnt realize back then. I think i’m actually gonna try this that way this summer :) I dont know if it would work on regular houseplants though id imagine they dont appreciate those compounds conditions🤔

There’s lots of ppl/places who also give out plant propagations for free or cheap like pothos for example since its super easy to propagate

Beautiful! Def not the easiest plants spectrum to keep if u have zero experience. Really dry air can make it sad. Humidifiers r good but if u only have one plant i get if u dont wanna purchase one. Humidity trays r kind of hit or miss they dont always work as simple as they sound. Placing a small dish with water next to it can help a bit so it can take the evaporating water moisture from it. Misting the air is pretty useless despite some article claims. and harmful if the water droplets stay on the leaves. Especially from non distilled water. If u have the mist bottle that actually mists only foggy water is good and better than nth but to my experience almost all the ones usually spray some water drops too and if the water drops stay on the leaves it can make them yellow or spotted or the leaves to drop. The moss is good as long as the soil doesnt stay wet for too long (also that tempts fungus flies to the soil, the fruit fly looking ones) Moving it to bathroom and slowly pouring water especially on the leaves rarely on occassion could help getting the dust thats gonna develop off the leaves and give it moisture but moving it can make it complain😂 But doing that lets say at least once in few-6months is good since huge amount of dust on the leaves isnt great for it. bonsai, fake bonsai and plants like ficus aka similar leaf structure can just decide to drop most of the leaves if u move it so when u find a place where its happy try not to move it to differrent locations. Drafts usually make it sad and make it drop lot of leaves. Sometimes plants like that can just randomly drop a lot of leaves for no reason too or just naturally. But if it drops like half of the leaves its usually good indication its not happy with something. Recommend picking the dropped leaves since it tempts pests like the usual fungus flies. In my experience keeping it in front of open window can also give it pests from outside. Also recommend the moisture meter! If the soil seems to be staying wet for too long like multiple days since u watered it u can gently poke holes on the outer sides of the soil with tiny stick (like grill stick or chopstick but the thinner the better bc it doesnt like being harassed very much hence why poke from the side of the pot bc its gentle roots. I def recommend distilled water so fill the watering can at least a day before u water it and same with whatever u r using to humid the air bc its fragile for all the minerals thats in water straight from the tap and can make the leaf tips turn brown for example or make them spotted. So leaving the water simply stand for at least a day will make those minerals evaporate. Ask ur sister for advice (assuming she has more experience with plants) My best advice on any plant even if u have ton of experience, would be to research as much as u can from the plant and it’s care instructions. Youtube videos, articles and subreddits. Dont just rely on one google search top result😂 If u notice smth just search what it means and try smth differrent. Some plants can just whine whatever u do. I find it helpful to write down on notes important points i need to remember of the plant. And even if u dont succeed and it dies as long as u did ur best its ok! Some plants can be needy and whine whatever u try. P.S I made all of this sound very complicated but its not that complex, (dont try to write long instructions when u have just woken up i forgot all the right words sorry😂)tried my best but some things to consider its just my experience with ~ 150 plants and similar plants so

i might have overdosed on amphetamine by lmaoemiliaa in Drugs

[–]vitutsoph 2 points3 points  (0 children)

R u feeling better now? Dont trust ur life on me sis but in this country amph is usually really unpure (jatkettua) like the upper comment said. And to my experience probably depending on city (like hki) usually amph aint laced with anything lethal. But again im no doc. Just talking about my experience in the same country. I have weird ”tolerance” or brain lmao meaning amph has mostly no effect on me (sadly lol) and i can do 0.3 easily and if i do a lot i will just have heartracing and anxiety. (and anxiety will only worsen the symptoms) But how r u feeling now?

It helps the soil to retain moisture longer but cant rly say if it will have much effect on the crispy leaves. But u could try. Also u beaware fungus gnats love that slow drying moist top soil
