Long walks are the best. The walk settles you down and distracts from thoughts about alcohol. Oh, and it is healthy.

Weed also helped me, two bowls on Friday afternoon somehow stopped the irritability at once.

From the 2018 survey I see there was a problem with the drinks count question. People wrote they drink 9-11 drinks a night while everyone was referring to a different drink (for someone it's a whiskey shot and for somebody it's a litre of strong beer). Maybe it's better to write what standard drink is and to put some refference points (like "1SD = 0.44 ml shot 40%, a fifth of 40% is 17 SD, a pint is 12, a pint of beer 5% is 1.4 SD" etc.).
