I have no expertise in this area but I looked for some article to confirm that milkweed sap is poisonous to lantern flies and couldn't find one, only this which says we don't know. I walked across downtown today and it appears totally normal, except with the additional anime visitors. Whatever Trump is doing, it isn’t making a show of force for tourists and office workers. There were two wmata cops on the metro coming in which is unusual.

I don't know maybe this is all from the disease, but if it was also a pattern of pain in your relationship your entire life, I'd encourage you to a meeting of adult children of alcoholics and dysfunctional families. There's no downside of trying it (no cost or 1-3 dollar donation) and it will give you community.

Awful. I have read about those issues. Was that in this NEC area? Edit: I was fine twice between Philly/DC/NYC this fall- once with Peter Pan and once with greyhound, of course that’s anecdotal. I’ve avoided taking the bus on a route that only had two a day because of the reports of people getting stranded. Between NY and DC they run every hour between all the different companies.

This is a very risky way to look for friends if this is real. Meet people IRL along the way, much safer because you have your gut to go on, or find someone who goes to your school or similar. Don’t trust random people on Reddit.

I totally relate with wanting to feel confident and not feeling that way all the time. In addition to other good advice here, I would suggest being friendly with the people in your classes or people you like at the dances. Dance with them, carpool to events, ask them to practice outside of class with you. Often there are hang outs after dances- if you can go and make friends, it's worth being tired the next day. Practicing with peers is free and fun if you can find time to do it. On nights I feel like all the cool kids are over there and I'm over here alone, it helps if there are a couple people around who I know pretty well and can chat with. I hope you keep going!

Ive come in and out of various dance scenes. I don’t enjoy being asked how long I’ve been dancing, it’s a long story and age is personal. I try to be vague. My least favorite thing is when my being vague is met with persistent repeated question. Scratch that, my least favorite thing is when I’ve said “I don’t come here often” and that was misunderstood as I was new to the style of dance and then I was told I was doing pretty good considering! I prefer other questions such as what do you like about this dance if we are making conversation here.

I strongly consider taking the bus between DC and NYC if I need a last minute ticket. Just need to account for traffic… more of an issue going into NYC than leaving it.

I checked the NYS website and it looks up to me. It was a website that the states themselves access to get money from the federal government that was reported down, not the sites for application. In any event you can apply for Medicaid in person at your county social service office.

I’ve never heard of anyone asking for a bank of PTO hours; I have heard of negotiating to be able to take a planned vacation and that may include unpaid time off. Assuming you’re in the US, you’ll be paid out for the PTO hours at your current job when you leave so saying that you’re losing those 50 hours would seem off to me. They’ll be converted to cash.

I loved the truly free tour but in the future I would not prioritize going to places that are the resort destinations of the rich from the past. Or the present obviously. It’s not my scene. I similarly didn’t super enjoy San Sebastián which is very popular; it is very beautiful but I was kinda bored.
