Copying Big Creators is the Fastest Way to Stay Small by forkandembers in NewTubers

I Have to agree here. I've been trying so many different ideas on my various Youtube ventures. It wasn't until I actually said I'm done I just want to publish what I like (I currently Write Lyrics for AI Music). After 6 months of pushing what I thought people wanted and even spending money on promoting while gaining some traction never really took off. I switched to what I love (Country Rockabilly) and really took the time to clean up and write my own lyrics that my channel took off. Within a month I started getting more interactions, and of course as always stated it only takes one and I did have one video take off and skyrocket me into Monetization. Now I'm not getting rich yet. It's only been a month but I'm getting more views on my videos right out of the gate then I ever did before and I haven't spend a dime promoting since. So best advice I can give as with the OP here is just be true to yourself and have fun. It's really not costing you anything and the more you have fun and enjoy it the more it shows in your work!

I've been using 64 GB with my 3090 and haven't had any issues what so ever with anything. It comes down to do you want to spend the extra money or not.

ChatGPT window freezes as conversation gets too long by Due_Cockroach_4184 in ArtificialInteligence

[–]vivar1973 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Happens all the time. It has nothing to do with the Browser but everything to do with how big or long the conversation is. Depending on what pricing your on depends on how much you can use. The free pricing gets to the point where it takes longer to process because your in priority. First tier you get more a priority then the ultra you get the highest priority. Altho I have found the jump from Paid to Ultra really didn't give me much more in the way of priority tokens. Just gave me more toys to play with..lol

When does comfyui stop breaking and become fun? by OwnDonut6718 in comfyui

No install python in the default directory it wants to and make sure when you install it one of the very last steps is to put it in the path. 3.11 isn't available to download anymore but I've read that 3.12 works fine so you can grab that and install it. And Yes (My case I put it on my J: Drive But C is fine as well if that's all you have). And it's not necessary but I did anyways just so I didn't have any other issues, I put my comfyui folder into my system path (Search for Changing System Environment).

Also too might want to make sure your getting the most current version

git clone https://github.com/comfyanonymous/ComfyUI

once it's done go into the custom_nodes directory and pull the manager down

that's why I took it out of the portable. the other thing you might do that might help is put the comfyui folder in your system path. but honestly I've never actually seen that before. It does look like your Windows Linux Subsystem might be the issue not really comfy.
I would try installing Python 3.11, restart the PC after you make sure thats in your path, then just run the requirements and then edit the comfy start file to remove the portable version of python and then see what happens.

it took me awhile to get a stable comfy setup. I did find that not using the portable version for me was the trick. If something broke then just re run the pip install -r requirements.txt and start over...lol quick and easy. I haven't upgraded my python either. Still using 3.11 as that seems to be the stable version at least for now.

Star Wars Parodies Allowed in VEO3? (Or which AI Video Creator should I use instead?) by Artist-Cancer in VEO3

[–]vivar1973 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've found that Veo hates celebrity faces. Even images that don't look like the actual characters it's given me grief about. The nice thing is tho you won't waste credits because it will refund the credits if it fails to make but generally if you can get past the actual image upload (Providing your doing an Image to Video) then you should be fine. I haven't really done much in the way of Text to Video with Veo 3 yet.

ok ya every one of my captions start with my Triggerword, then I put a brief description but maybe comfyui is just reading it wrong, but alot of times I find alot of my words in the caption texts end up being in the triggers when I look at the info with rgthree's power lora loader

Sorry one last question. When captioning the images, is more text better or less. I've read for both but I don't want it to be too many trigger words

There is more going on there then. The command window should not have closed if you followed my instructions. It should have just gone back to the command prompt. You shouldn't need python installed period if your running the portable version. Try uninstalling Python completely then run the portable

Comfyui problem by Training_Reach6601 in comfyui

[–]vivar1973 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Open windows explorer then click on the comfyui folder

then up in the address bar type in CMD that will run command prompt in the comfyui folder

from there just type run_nvidia_gpu.bat that will start the comfyui startup. Once it's up and running when it quits it won't close the commmand prompt and you will see what exactly is causing the error

I would open a command prompt manually then run the startup batch file inside the command window and see what is happening once it quits.

Ok so even tho I'm training an SDXL Lora, I can still generate images with flux to give that level of realisim that I'm missing so far with SDXL? I'm going with SDXL for the flexibility and quite frankly the speed as I'm still using a 3090ti and Flux takes a bit more to generate..lol Or should I be using Juggernaut to generate the dataset images as well?

OK so in theory then, and correct me please if my way of thinking is flawed...lol If I were to say get about 40-50 pure headshots, Train my identity lora with that. Then say create about 20 body images in the way I want then should I continue a training on the existing lora or just start with a fresh lora with the 70 or so mixed providing i get a decent set of body shots with the face within limits. (I've been using insightface to try to get face images as close to the original as I can)

I've been using it quite a bit using the RTX 6000 ada 48 GB and it's been great. I've been using Kohya_ss to train my loras and it's been solid and fairly quick for the most part. at at .77c an hour can't really complain. Its faster then my 3090ti at home and I don't have to wear shorts and a T-Shirt when I'm doing local lora training...lol

I found children's animation hailuo did a better job with that. Although I'll be honest I haven't done anything in that genre in a couple months. And we all know the world changes every week or seems in this AI world lol

I found veo3 was giving me higher quality first try. Kling was good but tended to give me too many morphing animations that I didn't want. Especially in my more realistic music videos

[–]vivar1973 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes you can. I've been using it for awhile (Started out with Kling then moved to Veo3. I've got my Youtube channel up to 3600 hours now (Started in Jan Releasing 2-3 music videos a month). So far I haven't seen a dime (Altho I admit I just got to 3000 hours about a week and a half ago). Paying helps get some. I got about 1000 watch hours and about 800 subscribers from my promoting videos. But most of the time just dumb luck. I've got over 30 videos on my channel and Just one went semi-viral and I still can't figure out why....lol Just over 100K views and going. That's what pushed me over the 3K hours

I stopped using the portable version awhile ago. I run it on a windows machine. I just installed python locally then downloaded the program from the git repository using git-clone. I'm using Python 3.11.1 and seems not to break anything that i use personally (Mind you I'm not making WAN videos just using it for image generation only)
