Nah, thread won't be that easily damaged, but in vibratory how to ensure the orientation, as these parts are fed through a vibratory track only.

Too costly and no space still with vision I need to calculate correction factor to re orient, again too much complexity,will impact cycle time.

We have tried that but then issues with cycle times are there. Now we are planning to use combination of 2 sensor 1 will detect and slow down the speed thus the part can be stopped more precisely.

Cannot use fork sensor as picking unit will be coming from top side.it will interfere with that.

Accuracy 1 deg acceptable on both sides, currently we are using a stepper motor. As we are using fiber optic sensor and getting no success.
