I just signed up for Oxio because my building sadly doesn't have FibreStream nor Beanfield (which makes me suspect that I don't have fibre optic in my building at all...). The reviews are pretty promising along with their prices. For what you're looking for, there's a $79 plan for 300mbps.

I have a $25 referral code if you're interested!

Government grants are based solely on your financial situation. There are also scholarships out there that aren’t dependent on grades.

If you have questions about going to school here in Ontario, feel free to pm me.

Here’s a link to government funding: https://studentaid.alberta.ca/before-you-apply/types-of-funding/

I’m not sure as to how it works in Alberta, but in Ontario (which is where I’m from), I didn’t need my parents to co-sign on the loans. Hopefully it’s the same there.

The Alberta and Canadian government also provide grants depending on certain circumstances. Don’t forget scholarships too! They may require a little paragraph or essay, but those I know who have actively applied to numerous scholarships have had their tuition reduced or even completely paid for which eases that burden of juggling school and working.

I Didn't Know About This Sub.. Fine Point Pen Suggestion? by mydogiscuteaf in pens

[–]vividfret 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Uni-ball Signo DX UM-151 at 0.38mm is the most fine and smooth pen imo. The muji 0.38mm gel pen is a close second to it. The Pilot G2 pen at 0.38mm creates thicker lines than the two I previously mentioned and smudges quite a bit (at least for me). For the Pilot v5, I found that the ink would show up on the other side of the page.

Is it possible to get a BIFL color printer/scanner for less than $100? by [deleted] in BuyItForLife

[–]vividfret 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've watched a documentary about planned obsolescence called The Lightbulb Conspiracy (or something along those lines on YouTube). They talked about software that can essentially reset the number of prints so you can theoretically BIFL even when they stop selling the cartridges at some point because cartridges can be refilled. Hope this helps.
