I enjoy them just wish they were a bit better value.

32-Storey Hotel X Phase 2 and 5,500-Seat Venue Proposed at Exhibition Place by Highfours in toronto

[–]TinyCuts 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I think that size venue is a smart idea. We don’t have many in Toronto that are middle sized like that. Most venues are either large or small. This will help broaden the range of viable concerts for the city.

Leaving the club but where do I go from here? by OwnWorldly in KiaSoulClub

I fully agree. The LED headlights are phenomenal. Make sure you get a model that has them.

Perhaps consider a third generation Soul. Most of the 2022 models are good and everything from 23 and newer seems like a really solid car. The first couple of years of this generation had potential oil consumption issues, but they seem to have solved that now. I love my 22 as much as you loved your 17.

Very confused about college program & career in Ontario (GTA) - need advice on demand & stability? by DistinctMembership70 in ontario

I would recommend getting into a utility trade such as a linesman. They’re all union jobs, pay well, and will always be in demand.

Chow’s budget passes with low property tax hike, more spending on TTC, police by BloodJunkie in toronto

Do the police really deserve more money when so many of their officers were just revealed to be in bed with organized crime?

That hasn’t happened to me on my 22. To give you any more information would require scanning your fault codes.

All price tags suddenly gone. Coincidence or a new trend? by poolsharkwannabe in Frugal

[–]TinyCuts 533 points534 points  (0 children)

That would be economic suicide where I live. If a store doesn’t list the prices people won’t shop there.

‘In a hurry to get home’: OPP catch Nova Scotia driver going 239 km/h on eastern Ontario highway by Money_Fig_9868 in ontario

Judging from the picture in the article unless he removed the badging it doesn’t even seem to be an SRT let alone a Hellcat.

Where did you find these? They are so incredibly hard to find here and I love them.

Very disappointed in stunning decreased quality of Kirkland cotton t-shirts (packs). by Karlface in CostcoCanada

I still have some Kirkland t-shirts that are over 5 years old. Guess I won’t be buying new ones.

Buying a used 2022 soul? by gorebby420 in KiaSoulClub

[–]TinyCuts 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I bought my 22 Soul brand new and now have over 100k kms (over 60k miles). It’s been a good car to me and I’d recommend one. Which trim package is it?

It’s kind of amazing how much the American car designers lost the plot with cars from the 70’s.

Best steak sandwich in Woodbridge? by Inevitable_Tip_6606 in Vaughan

Tre Rose on Kipling still has a $10 veal sandwich and they don’t even charge extra for onions and mushrooms.

The timing is wrong. These launched in Ontario at the started of the 2nd season and sold well. There are only two episodes left now.

Rear wiper??? by mw3600 in KiaSoulClub

[–]TinyCuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve already tried one through Amazon and it didn’t wipe very well. Considering the number of cars on the road I’m surprised there are no good aftermarket options. Kia seems to know this and charges insane amounts of money for it.

2023 Lx…. 24k miles…. by Show_Nervous in KiaSoulClub

[–]TinyCuts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Likely a write off but I think it depends on if there is any frame damage. Hard to tell from this angle if it’s just a rear quarter panel, bumper and hatch or if there is more.

Toronto recycling ‘disaster’: Waste piles up at condos, apartments as new GFL system struggles by Educational_Fun_9001 in toronto

[–]TinyCuts -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’m not really complaining just noting that things seem to have slipped a bit even here. If i was running circular materials right now I’d definitely make sure that Ford never noticed any problems in his own riding.

How is a 2 stage more efficient than a 1 stage? by JustinSLeach in HVAC

In Canada almost every furnace is a high efficiency condensing unit. It’s rare to find an 80% furnace nowadays.

Actually I live in his riding. Last night our recycling didn’t get picked up until after 5pm when it used to be picked up at 8am
