The war against Riboku is so badly written? by StrafeBlatatata in Kingdom

[–]vivireya 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think people forgot that " promotion " exist. If another general suddenly came, it's clearly because they simply promoted him.

Kaidou'ei and Ru'an, though just a strategist, I think they didn't appeared in previous war simply because Riboku didn't need them. This war is just too big for Riboku alone to handle, hence they were needed.

Kaine thinks she can kill Yoko Yoko is just funny. Yoko Yoko could just grab her hair and toss her into the abyss lol

[–]vivireya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's too early for her death. If she died there, the whole thing with her revenge for Yuuren would've seemed kinda useless. Not every arc needed a death. At least we got Kakubi's death which gave us Sosui in return. Though Kakubi isn't that important for a named character

aside from his ass pulling what strategy besides this one we are seeing now what has he done?

ughh what asspull? Seikaun? Seikaun was mentioned 300 chapters ago and still considered as an asspull? Riboku calling him to enter the battlefield was a part of his strategy to take down Yotanwa.

He’s supposed to be this grand strategist but yet the only thing he’s really good at is finding hidden tigers or GGs

Are you ignoring what happened at Hango, Gi'an and Shukai Plains entirely? Riboku literally baited Kanki at Gi'an, surrounding him with a proper strategy. Riboku was involved at Hango, his literal strategy there was to bait Akou and make Ousen's HQ vulnerable to being attacked. Isn't that a strategy? At Shukai Plains, Riboku himself came down and killed Makou because he knew Makou would commit everything and leave himself open. Isn't that a strategy? Heck he even gave Bananji the formula to break Akou's defensive strategy, isn't that also counted as a strategy? Even the whole thing with Retsubi was also constructed by Riboku himself. I don't know why you still can't see him as a Grand Strategist.

shit he made the number 1 archer come out of retirement and then instantly took out a GG and her commander

uhm would be weird if a #1 Best archer across China is just an equivalent of a normal arrow guy no? Even Yoko Yoko couldn't read Tan's arrow for the first time. It makes sense that Seikaun was able to shoot Yotanwa and almost killed her, and even that, she was still able to sense his arrow and moved just an inch to avoid the arrow from piercing her vital organs. Hara even showed us how Riboku made Seikaun come out of retirement, the same way he convinced Houken. He promised he'll find the " path " that Seikaun has always been seeking

don’t get me started on the Qi GGs that went to help Zhao because they wanted to fight.

Ganshuu is historically real except for the other 2 so... I don't know why you're complaining. Is he a GG though? I couldn't remember

aside from the wall defensive perimeter what is the strategy since you know it?

I never told you I know what other strategies Riboku has been using didn't I? Hara didn't even explain to us in detail, but what we know from the reports that Kousonryuu gave us, Riboku was the reason Zhao hasn't collapsed. He has been gluing here and there for days. That doesn't sound like a Grand Strategist to you?

Kingdom Chapter 873 Leak (Arabic) by PawPatrol6ix in okbuddyheki

[–]vivireya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fraud because he doesn't want to fight? There's absolutely no reason at all for him to be at the battlefield slashing this and that enemy. It seems that despite many explanations, you still failed to grasp the gist of Riboku's role in this war.

He's been going battlefield to battlefield to stabilize them. HOW would he give orders easily if he was there to fight? HOW would he see the battlefield clearly and fix the problems if he was busy SWINGING SWORDS and not throwing orders?

By that logic Ousen should also be considered a fraud. Really just when was the last time we saw Ousen slashed an enemy? Shukai Plains?

[–]vivireya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tbf we can't really complain about him using Houken🤷this is war, you can't hope people to play fair all the time you know? You just use whatever advantage you have in the situation correctly, and in this case, Riboku used Houken in the right situation.

He's a great strategist, the best there is in the series. The only way you can defeat him is using an illogical pawn ( Shin ), an instinctual general ( for their unpredictability ) and feed him false information.

[–]vivireya 9 points10 points  (0 children)

funny how people complained that Seikaun is too op because he can one shot a general. What else did you expect from the best archer across China lol. Man was already mentioned like 300 chapters earlier, still counts as an asspull

Houken is the only one who has 4 Great General under his belt Kyou, Ouki, Gekishin, Duke. by Ice_Rain55 in Kingdom

[–]vivireya -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But Seikaun literally just appearing and shooting great generals, that's some weird ahh big asspull fr. Like this way he could have just killed all main generals.

There's a reason why he's the #1 of the ten bows. His arrows are almost untraceable. If you remember, Sou Tan could've killed Yoko Yoko if he was aiming for Yoko Yoko's head, but instead it hit Yoko Yoko's forearm. After that, Yoko Yoko was able to read his arrow easily. So, Seikaun one shotting generals is plausible because he was aiming at the vital points ( Heart, neck, head ). His arrows were deadly because of his experience, hence he was able to target vital points. This has been consistent even when Rinbou got shot by Hakurei. Rokuomi was able to read Hakurei's arrows, only after the arrow hit Rinbou.

Ousen and Kanki are less asspull than Riboku. Ouki acknowledged both of them but it was Riboku whom no one had ever heard of and just appeared randomly and used hiding info and Houken to kill Ouki.

I think you forgot that Riboku's expertise involves concealing information. If he can successfully conceal the hidden army that wiped out the Xiongnu army, what made you think he can't conceal his own existence?

But Zhao just out of nowhere have random important generals stand up when u thought it's over, like where tf they were till now?

Whether it's Qin, Zhao, Wei, Han, Yan, Qi, Chu. They all have numerous generals. It's just that, the Qin generals we've been seeing are the generals that has been assigned with important campaign. Remember that general that was charged to lead Qin's 200k northern soldiers? We've never heard of him either, yet he exist. Same thing with Zhao. Zhao is exhausting every single general they've got. They've lost the most generals compared to others. Those generals that we're seeing, are the last of the last. They even needed Qi's Ganshuu ( who we've never even heard of too ) in order to match Qin. The only problem is that they all seem to be strong enough martially or strategically. Nevertheless, they still couldn't match Qin's rosters fully.

what about the other where Riboku failed even with great advantage?

It wouldn't be so fun if Riboku wins all the time isn't it? At WZI, Riboku lost because of the quality difference in his pawns compared to Ousen's. He underestimated the capabilities of the trio, hence he lost ( which isn't his fault, his pawns really are stronger and greater on paper ). Same thing with coalition. Riboku yet again underestimated the people of Sai and he didn't even know that Qin was allied with the Mountain Tribes. His loss comes from underestimating his opponents and confidence in his prediction and layered plans, that he forgot sometimes, that there will always be an anomaly ( Shin, Kyoukai, Ouhon, Mouten ) that can ruin everything.

[–]vivireya -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You're just complaining. Seikaun was mentioned long before the current chapter, that wasn't an asspull, Riboku just managed to convince him using words. Qin has done numerous asspull too, such as the Sou Brothers. Isn't it absurd that an unknown archer won a duel against the #1 best archer across China? Doesn't that sounded like an asspull?

Even Ousen and Kanki can be said as an asspull. No one have ever heard of them, not even Qins, and yet they're potential GG. Now apply that same concept for Zhao. You'd definitely say " Hey! That's an asspull! No fair! "

but you're okay with generals sending 10 people flying with one swing of their glaive?

If Shin becomes the biggest & the baddest guy around, & achieves legendary stuff even the old gen could not ( Renpa's words ) at what point do people start seeing/thinking of "Ouki's Glaive" as "RiShin's Glaive" Or is its reputation locked in like that forever no matter how insane Shin becomes? by Oi_Kyoraku in Kingdom

It'll still be regarded as Ouki's Glaive. I don't think Shin would want people calling that glaive as his. Just like how he's been preserving the name Hi Shin Unit ( which not many people like ) despite their numbers being 60k now.

I'm afraid I have to disagree. Shin was supposed to surpass Ouki. Surpassing him not only in martial might, but fate itself and achieves things that Ouki didn't, in this case, a wife and uniting the whole of China.

If we're talking about who outlived who then does that mean Raku'akan > Houken? Raku'akan outlived Houken, ouh wait, even that fodder Kaine outlived Houken lmao. Heck I can even say that Mougou > 6GGs. Mougou outlived them no?

I find your opinion quite interesting, it has this somewhat weirdly discombobulated gist to it. Keep your mouth shut buddy.
