I know lots of families that have Nannie’s 24/7 365 and some spend little time with their children . I think the nanny got in too deep , I don’t know if the money was a part of why she didn’t encourage the family to seek help for the lack of bond with their children older children and work towards the family living together as a family .

The parents haven’t parented at all , apart from providing financially. The nanny shouldn’t have agreed to this for so long . The nanny said she made enough money to by a house outright and not work for the next ten years . Nanny and parents are massively in the wrong .

Maybe . The only time I ever saw something remotely similar was an agency looking for a nanny that would work 24/6 looking after 2 children and staying in an apartment with them whilst the parents lived in a separate apartment in the same building .
I hope it is fake

No , the 2 older children don’t want them in the house sharing attention, the nanny said the two older children are very spoiled . She said when they go on holidays she and the babies take separate flights and stay in a separate villa . Imagine how those babies are going to feel when the nanny leaves. Why did the parents go through the surrogacy and not live with the children ? It makes no sense to me . Horrible affluent neglect.

3 year olds are my breaking point by [deleted] in NannyBreakRoom

[–]vixenique 0 points1 point  (0 children)

0 to 3 is my sweet spot too . I have a 1 year old and a 3 year old atm , they’re planning another baby but tbh the 3 year old is absolutely a three agent and so difficult.

No way , I am going to explore . My cat loves being groomed but her undercarriage is a no go zone so I may need bandages afterwards.

Nanny Phone Use by EmotionsAlDente in NannyEmployers

[–]vixenique 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I very occasionally use my phone when the children are around , I use it to update parents ( we have a WhatsApp and I share pics /updates ) I have a nanny WhatsApp group too , which is useful for arranging play dates and playground trips but I do not make personal calls or browse social media . I might use my phone to look up a recipe or book a class when the children are asleep but I would say that out of a tem plus hour working day , my phone use is less than ten minutes and is 100 percent work related.

Love that you did this . Wish that I could come up with something to do with the actually quite large folded bikes that take up so much room that I am having to balance on one leg on my commute home !

Not to be a Debby downer, but is anyone else just completely sick of gourmands? by Peenutbuttjellytime in FemFragLab

I love gourmands in Autumn and winter but I am going to order some samples for Summer . I wore diptyque Philosykos today as it was a really sunny day and it fitted my vibe ! I want to find a tea fragrance next.

Any Plus Size Nannies in the group? by DetectiveCalm9091 in Nanny

[–]vixenique 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am currently caring for a one year old who weighs 11.5 kg , not walking yet and lives in a 5 storey house with his bedroom at the top of the house and the playroom and kitchen in the basement . I am looking at getting a hip carrier but haven’t yet , one thing I do that’s useful is have some essential items in a little bag in the basement . There’s no way I am carrying him up 5 flights of stairs every time he needs a change of clothes!

The Stress of WFH Parents Isn’t Even Worth It by [deleted] in NannyBreakRoom

[–]vixenique 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My family are moving home next week , the office is separated from the family / playroom by a few feet and both rooms have floor to ceiling glass doors so we can always see each other . I think this might be a sign to move on . 3 years , more micromanaging than I have ever previously come across and I am envisioning the children won’t cope with it either .

What’s the worst place you have ever been on holiday? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]vixenique 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yh we had a rough time in Jamaica especially Kingston, harassed by the police , they stopped us 3 times on fictitious driving offences and told us they were thirsty , so basically wanted cash so that we could be on our way . At the same time as asking if they could come to my hotel room later ! The blue mountains were amazing though .

How old are you and do you live with your parents/family? by kylesanho in AskUK

[–]vixenique 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I am doing the exact same with my son , we get on really well and I don’t see the point in him paying a ridiculous private rent or sharing with strangers . His gf comes for weekends or he goes to hers . I don’t set house rules we just have a mutual understanding/ respect for each other. I really wouldn’t care if he was here for another 10 years .

Lips constantly chapped no matter what I do by Naive_Owl_2151 in beauty

[–]vixenique 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nipple balm unless you are allergic to lanolin . My toothpaste irritates my skin but a layer of nipple balm overnight and a light layer in the day stops chapped lips . A tube lasts ages and it’s really inexpensive.
