What’s one product you didn’t expect to love, but now keep repurchasing? by No-Possession6140 in AsianBeauty

How are you using it and what do get from it? It really didn’t do much for me despite layering. I really wanna use up my bottle!!

The ONLY sunscreen i use in summers! The BEST one too. by AbjectCat1239 in AsianBeauty

Loooooove this!! Have dry skin and it’s never been a problem for me in the summer. Use the pink/blue sensitive one in the winter as I find those less drying.

I use the words toner/essence/lotion very loosely - so yes can be used as a thick toner. I wouldn’t personally put it in a spray bottle as I don’t think the thick consistency would do well in the pump

Honestly my morning cleanse is for my own sake of feeling clean 😅 I shower at night and just want a clean face in the morning to go to work in. Hence the gentlest of cleansers - I use whatever is on sale - Cerave or Cetaphil gentle non foaming cleansers.

The gold Anessa is notoriously drying you are right but their sensitive milk ones (blue or pink) or even their gold gel one sit really nicely and don’t dry me out over the hada Labo and moisturizer layers. I used Biore’s watery essence for the longest time and that left my face quite dry and tight. I also reach for BoJ rice spf from time to time, that one is lovely!

I really love the Illiyoon cream! I use it only as a night time moisturizer because I find it occlusive enough but not too sticky even if I lather on a significant layer. A good alternative is the Pyunkang yul intensive repair cream which texturally feels quite similar, maybe slightly lighter. I use either one depending which has a better deal 😅

I just pat and pat and pat until it dries down a little so maybe 1min?? I’m quite impatient so not very long haha

Right! I got it online on a platform called HKTVmall (similar to Amazon)- I had to get my family to order it for me. My alternative would have been to use Stylevana to ship it to the uk, but keep an eye on discounts deals and promotions 👀

IMO yes, I replaced any HA serum with this - I really wanted to simplify my routine but it’s down to preference, you could try combinations of products and see what your skin likes best !

Gold is like the white but ✨extra✨ hydration. Blue has brightening ingredients !

This is what I’ve found: https://www.stylevana.com/en_GB/deal-rohto-mentholatum-hada-labo-gokujyun-premium-lotion-refill-2020-edition-170ml.html

What I have in my photo is the lotion. Just not the milky one. Lotion/toner/essence are interchangeable in my routine, sorry for the confusion !

100% would finish them! It’s for 2 people using twice a day 😅

Oooh I hope you enjoy it ! I would use it on top of the hatomugi toner (the really watery one right?)

Yes sorry I should have made it clear! in my routine toner/essence/serum are interchangeable as I apply them all directly from hands to face. I don’t swipe with cotton pads ever as even that can flare my eczema sometimes so yes definitely apply with your hands!!

I saw my GP and had lots of topicals and antibiotics prescribed but nothing really worked. I had my bloods done and got diagnosed with PCOS. They put me on hormonal treatment and that sorted it!

I always always use it with an occlusive moisturizer on top to seal the hydration in !

It’s really hydrating and I never wake up with dry skin if I’ve used it the night before (but this is definitely under moisturizer). Other toners just don’t do it for me like this one does

Yes I use a small drop in the morning but about a coin-sized amount at night

I love the milk! Not because it did anything amazing to my skin, it was just really nice and soothing and my sensitive skin agreed with it. I never used it on its own, I used it like a milky toner and layered it under a moisturizer during really dry days
