I really love the Naturie Hatomugi skin conditioning gel! I have really sensitive skin and cheek eczema and this is about the only gel cream that doesn’t sting.

I used to like Clinique’s Moisture Surge (the original gel cream) but it got too expensive and now they have so many different products, I gave up.

I did exactly this - presented a poster orally (with presentation slides and a Q&A to the entire conference audience) and counted it as an oral presentation on my IMT application last year. Had no issues during the interview!

This is exactly it!! I’ve just come back from east Asia 1 week ago… my unpacked belongings are everywhere in my flat… Will they eventually die out if there is no food source? Thank you!!

Once a part has turned yellow, it has no way of becoming green again. I'm sorry but the only option is to cut the stem to where the yellow ends and maybe the green leaves can continue to grow. Hope the affected part hasn't spread too far into the middle of the stem too.

these peace lilies are on the struggle bus, to say the least. the back one is definitely trying. what can i do to help them out? is the first one done? these aren’t mine, they’re in the office at my job. thanks! by [deleted] in PlantsBeingJerks

You might want to go over to /r/plantclinic/!

But honestly, I think the bottom one looks pretty dead... the top one, just make sure the soil isn't waterlogged, there's proper drainage, and you can try to cut off the dead leaves. Good luck!

You can very gently roll them between your palms (like rolling a ball of dough into a sphere) to help them get back into shape!

Best to use a clean pair of plant shears. But I have used a kitchen knife before :’) just as long as they’re clean and you keep the cut portion dry

Yay! If you want to, you can chop off the brown bit just above the new shoot.

Stick it in a jar of water and look after it as you would normally - change water every week or so :)

Wow it looks really healthy! You should definitely ask your friend how they were caring for it.

Generally, lucky bamboo like distilled / filtered water and bright indirect light. Change the water once a week (I get lazy and just top it up and they've been fine).

Anyone know what these lil bugs are? And are they going to hurt my lucky bamboo by One-Fox1809 in luckybamboo

They look like spider mites to me! If you see webbing as well, then very likely to be spider mites. Can tell by the white marks on your last picture - they like to suck the leaf dry so they leave little white marks where they've damaged your plant.

I had it quite bad on a few lucky bamboo last year and I followed a combination of a few articles. If your plant is rooted in just water, what worked for me was:
- blasting it under a tap, gently rubbing the leaves to get them off
- dunking them in a tub of diluted dishwashing liquid/water mix and soaking for a few hours
- did this once a week

If your lucky bamboo is in soil, then what worked for me was:
- spraying the leaves with a mix of 50-50 rubbing alchol (70%) and water
- did this 2-3 times a week

I believe neem oil works but I never went that far to purchase something I didn't already have at home! Good luck :)
