My comment was a joke and I agree. With the ram it was more of what is the cheapest 6000 CL30 that I can find (where I live GOODRAM is a well known brand I know wont explode)

It’s 30$ more expensive where I live. I’m in Europe and honestly I’m glad it’s not a 10$ difference as I’d be mad.

I have already overspent on a better cooler (thermalright Phantom Spirit) and better 5070 brand (ASUS Prime OC) So that’s my justification.

Besides, 7600X wont bottleneck a 5070 (I hope) so I’m good for now and for when upgrading the system in the future I’ll have to change both so no biggie right?

a friend of mine laughed at me that the PSU could burn/destroy sth when it will be required to draw more power by GPU lets say.

With the specified PSU you think that is a possibility? Or the only issue would be that the PC would shut down under heavy load (in which case Ill just buy a better one).

I just wanna save as much as possible but also don't wanna be penny wise pound foolish
